I’m being better than the right by clearly labeling mine as satire and pointing at a very specific person who DOES use the death of children to advance an agenda. Instead of a random person who I ideologically disagree with.
In fact, my post is literally copied and pasted from his post with a few words changed. His audience found his original post both true and HILARIOUS.
My satire brought HIS fans into my comments - suddenly understanding why we should wait for verification and unhinged and libelous a post like this is.
Hitting the post button was something that weight heavily on me, but I think it’s worth sacrificing my own dignity if it means someone somewhere learned something today.
