Rowing is the third best-funded Olympic sport in the UK (behind cycling and aquatics, which have more events, ahead of athletics) and a medal banker for decades yet coverage has vanished from BBC and non-specialist press. Odd that we’ve stopped covering something we’re good at
For the first time in 18months I actually went out in a single…
Hip flexors cramped
Shoulders feel like I’ve lifted the world
Rained on till it looked like I had capsized
Wouldn’t change it for the world 😃

🚣♀️ Great news! @Sport_England has pledged £11,800 to our Inclusive Equipment Project — if we can match it through crowdfunding!
Help us make rowing accessible for all in Telford, Wrekin & Shropshire. Every pledge counts 💪

Does anyone know Phill?

Ok rowing community we need you to do your thing! @SleepstoHRR @RowingFamily1 @BritishRowing
In 2004 Phill Dostall won the Men’s Senior 2 Double Sculls at the regatta, we have kept it for 21 years on the off chance they might come and ask for it.
Can we reunite this weekend?

Super proud of these ladies yesterday at @BritishRowing Maaters in their first Championship Quad event! A solid 4th in tough conditions and missed out on the final by 4.39s but the fastest second 500m of all crews!
As a coach you can’t ask anymore!!

This was my coach, someone who 31 years ago took pity on a lanky lad. I still hear his voice when I’m on the bank. This Saturday I’m taking a crew to @BritishRowing masters championship not as an athlete but as a coach for the first time. Will try and do you proud Denis
