$150 million. A million in court fees just to start. $14,000 left when it was over.
That’s the story behind @GenLayer. At the previous company of its CEO, a custodian lost the keys one Sunday night, and getting the money back meant a million in court fees up front.
I got into GenLayer through its community programs, so I read its posts closely. This time the numbers stuck with me more than the tech did. It felt less like a pitch and more like a bill.
Now make the deal small. An agent pays another agent $300 for a data report, and the report is wrong. Nobody is filing a case over $300. So the dispute never happens, and neither does the next deal.
The Oct 1 thread says agents are about to move $9 trillion between them. Payments, identity and interoperability are being built. The part that handles disagreement was not.
Internet Court is that part. It is the open standard for settling agent disputes, and every verdict comes from a jury of GenLayer validators, each running a different AI model.
When a dispute costs more than the deal, you don’t have a dispute process. You just have trust.
⁉️Would you let an agent spend your money if a wrong delivery was never worth disputing?

The internet never had a judge.
AI agents are about to move $9 trillion. Nobody built the part that handles disagreement.
GenLayer did.

The war with the Houthis in Yemen exposes the limits of Saudi Arabia's military options and the vulnerabilities of the Gulf states. A unified Gulf Cooperation Council strategy – and a credible political settlement between Yemenis – is desperately needed.

The conflict is escalating, energy infrastructure clearly exposed, more attacks on vessels in Hormuz, stocks being depleted and not being refilled…. You can guess which direction oil prices will go. #OOTT

ANZ: “What is clear is that the recent rise in oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz is unsustainable given the pressure on the #tanker #market. The escalation of attacks will only add pressure to #shipping capacity. This suggests flows from the Persian Gulf may have peaked, with the risk of declines rising.”

U.S. FORWARD OIL prices are climbing gradually and sending a slightly stronger signal to increase production. Twelve-month forward WTI futures have climbed to an average of almost $78 per barrel so far in October, the highest for more than two years, and up from just $58 in December 2025. The futures contract is trading almost exactly in line with the long-term average since 2010 or 2000 after adjusting for inflation. Crucially, it is trading above the $65-70 per barrel producers have said they need to drill new wells profitably in the Permian Basin. Futures prices are close to a level that should support production at existing levels and possibly spur some very small growth:
