I worked for Democratic elected officials for 12 years. If I lived in Michigan, I'd vote for Mike Rogers. And, for that matter, if I lived in Maine, I'd vote for Susan Collins.

I’m currently reading “What It Takes” about the ‘88 campaign. According to the book, George HW Bush offered to stay on as CIA Director in 1976 to #JimmyCarter, who turned him down.

BREAKING: MATT GAETZ WITHDRAWS FROM ATTORNEY GENERAL BID
The image shows a tweet from Matt Gaetz (@mattgaetz), which reads: “I had excellent meetings with Senators yesterday. I appreciate their thoughtful feedback - and the incredible support of so many. While the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition. There is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle, thus I’ll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General. Trump’s DOJ must be in place and ready on Day 1. I remain fully committed to see that Donald J. Trump is the most successful President in history. I will forever be honored that President Trump nominated me to lead the Department of Justice and I’m certain he will Save America.” Timestamp: 9:24 AM · 11/21/24 · 187K Views.

Free the hostages. End this godforsaken war. Accept that Israel isn’t going anywhere. Use the billions in aid dollars to build a brighter future for the Palestinian people. Learn to live side-by-side in peace. You’ll find that this so much better than the shitty way you live now.
