If/when Helton gets fired his decision to steer away from Veltkamp and its downstream effects like losing messer will be a big reason why. Instead of having a home grown 5th year duo we are stuck with QBs that are the worst drop back passers in the country

Since Easton Messer woke up on October 24th he has gone NUCLEAR 10/24: 12 catches, 162 yards, 2 TDs. 2 rushing TDs. 82-yard punt return TD. 10/29: 16 catches, 189 yards, 3 TDs. 11/5: 4 catches, 38 yards, 2 TDs. Passing TD. First Quarter just ended. 11 total touchdowns in the last 9 quarters played.
