We’re excited to announce that @KnotAPIs is now live with @CashApp.
The Cash App Card is one of the largest debit card programs in the United States. With Knot's CardSwitcher™, Cash App cardholders can instantly add their card across the merchants they use most, including Amazon, Apple, Walmart, Uber, and 100+ more, without ever leaving the app.
Cash App has always focused on creating intuitive financial experiences. Knot builds on that by driving activation and spend for Cash App, reducing churn and abandoned carts for merchants, and giving users a frictionless way to use their Cash App Card.
We’re proud to power an even more seamless Cash App Card experience and excited for what’s ahead. More to come.

I couldn't be more excited to announce Supernova by @KnotAPIs.
For years, we've poured our hearts and souls into building the technology behind Knot.
Today, it powers more than 1 million actions every day for some of the largest financial institutions in the world.
Now, we're putting that same technology in your hands: Supernova turns virtually any action on any website into an API.
Tell Supernova what you want to do and Supernova, if needed, uses a VM to learn the action once, then turns it into a reusable API. Frictionless authentication, persistent connections, health checks, self-healing, and ongoing maintenance? All handled by Supernova.
The result: An API you can call over and over, without spinning up a browser every time.
Think about what this unlocks:
🛒 Commerce: Build APIs to search, shop, and purchase across retailers.
🏦 Financial services: Connect accounts, retrieve transactions, and manage payments.
🚀 Entrepreneurs: Build the next Finicity/Plaid/MX for procurement, Stripe for returns, or an entirely new API business.
Everything we've built at Knot is proof of what's possible. But our products are just a handful of ideas from one team.
Our ambition isn't just to build the next great Knot product. It's to help you build tens of thousands of your own, including things we never would have imagined.
We're opening the Supernova waitlist to developers, and we can't wait to see what you build.

At our first @money2020, @KnotAPIs had one product and a pitch most people hadn’t heard before: let consumers move their card to a merchant in a few taps.
This year we arrive with record quarter-over-quarter growth, millions of connected merchant accounts, and our most exciting partnership opportunities yet.
The conversation has changed. We’re no longer explaining why Knot should exist. Prospects experience Knot for the first time in the apps they already use, everyone understands the revenue opportunity, and financial institutions want Knot live before they’re the only ones without it.
What started with CardSwitcher has become something much bigger: infrastructure that connects users to their merchant accounts, automates actions, and keeps those connections working securely at scale. CardSwitcher has become the perfect wedge into selling additional products, and new Knot cross-sells have surpassed even my own expectations.
In the past few months, the market has moved entirely in our favor too. Merchant connectivity is the layer the whole industry decided it needed. Issuers want top of wallet, networks want their token in the merchant file, and nobody wants a third party disintermediating the relationship between them and the consumer. It’s now clear that whoever owns the connectivity layer owns the consumer relationship.
We’re heading into Vegas with more excitement and a fuller calendar than ever: issuers, partners we couldn’t have dreamed of, and everyone wanting a piece of the merchant connectivity layer.
The question is no longer why Knot, or whether Knot works: It’s who will own the connection between users and merchants.
Knot's expansion in Canada continues 🇨🇦
I couldn't be more excited to announce that we’re now powering card switching for @GetKoho, one of Canada’s largest neobanks with more than 2.5 million customers.
KOHO users can now add their KOHO Mastercard® Prepaid card to the places they already shop in just a few taps, without leaving the KOHO app.
It's great to see banks and fintechs alike focus on the same thing: making it as easy as possible for people to use their payment details everywhere.
Big thanks to the KOHO team for partnering with us to make that happen.

Muse is great, and the banks' instinct is right: whoever sits between the customer and the merchant wins. Owning the connection is the most important. That's exactly why we built @KnotAPIs: customers connect to merchants directly via Knot, we keep that connection live, and then take actions on the customer's behalf.

We couldn't be more excited to share @KnotAPIs new case study with @sezzleinc, one of the world’s leading BNPL providers.
Sezzle had CardSwitcher production-ready in just two weeks, and since launch, shoppers who used it to switch their card are spending 3.2x more at Amazon and 2.6x more at Walmart.
As Sarah Hill, SVP of Product at Sezzle, put it: "CardSwitcher helped us close the gap between offering the Sezzle Card and making it useful in everyday spending."

Most people only see the front end of fintech. The app. The card. The payment. But underneath that experience is an enormous amount of infrastructure and some of fintech’s biggest opportunities are hiding there.
@RoryOReilly, cofounder and CEO of @KnotAPIs, joined me on the pod to talk about how Knot is rewiring fintech and transforming financial connectivity.
We dive into:
- Why keeping a card “top of wallet” is harder than it sounds.
- The infrastructure required to connect financial institutions with thousands of merchants.
- Why security and compliance are foundational, not afterthoughts, in fintech.
- Where blockchain and stablecoins could fit into the financial stack.
- Rory’s unconventional path from selling shoes with his family to building fintech companies with his brother.
What I particularly enjoyed about this conversation is that Knot is tackling a problem most consumers don't even realize exists. The biggest innovations in fintech may not be the products we see, they may be the infrastructure quietly making everything work.
Special thanks to Rory for joining me on the pod.

Huge congrats to @RoryOReilly & the entire @KnotAPIs, which continues to crush it--
Big news! We're partnering with @Venmo, the payment brand trusted by over 100 million users across the US.
Over the past several months, we've worked with teams across Venmo to make Venmo easy to use wherever their users shop.
@KnotAPIs enables users to save Venmo as their payment method with participating merchants, right from the Venmo app and without manually re-entering their details. Depending on the merchants, users can either link their Venmo account to Pay with Venmo at checkout or save their Venmo Debit Card - enabling a fast and easy way to pay with Venmo, all powered by Knot.
It also marks a first for us. This is the first time Knot has provisioned a proprietary checkout solution as the default payment option, extending what we do beyond just the card.
It's a win across the board: users get a more seamless shopping experience and a simple way to spend with Venmo, and merchants can capture more spend with customers.
At Knot, our mission has always been to remove friction from payments and merchant connectivity. This collaboration with Venmo is exactly that in action.
More to come soon. Thank you to the wonderful Venmo team for their collaboration!
Way to go @KnotAPIs !!!

Financial institutions can already see it in their data: a card that never got activated, or one whose usage is quietly fading. What they haven't had is a way to act on it in the moment.
That's why we're partnering with @getlarky, the market leader in consumer engagement technology, to help financial institutions on @Q2_Software, and across the broader digital banking ecosystem, turn insights into action.
Larky delivers the nudge, and @KnotAPIs delivers the switch, letting cardholders move their card on file across their recurring subscriptions, bills, and top merchants in just a few taps.
For the cardholder, it's the tedious part made effortless: no need to navigate to a dozen accounts or dig out card numbers. One tap keeps their favorite card working everywhere, without ever leaving their banking app.
Knot turns intent into card usage. Larky makes sure the moment never gets missed.
