This morning, our young men had the opportunity to serve our school community by delivering food to the WC Food Pantry. These are the moments that truly make a difference! We couldn’t be prouder of these young men for stepping up and giving back where it’s needed most!
The Future Rough Riders Game was so much fun with Ed White MS and Krueger MS participating on the field with the band and dance team! Their futures are bright!!

Senator @Menendez4Texas made great points re: enrollment based funding.
TX is 1 of 6 states that does not fund public schools for each child that is enrolled. Absences outside the school’s control lead to diminished funding, even though the child will be back tomorrow.
#txlege
.@Menendez4Texas on attendance- vs. enrollment- based funding: Wants to look at data and see what districts are hurt the most by attendance-based funding and see “what we can do to not hold them hostage to the politics or policies” that are affecting them.

Hey Johnson Fans! Y’all ready for the Future Jags Game!!!?? This Thursday! #RootEdJohnson
What if instead of opening military charters owned by the failed HISD Morath appointment, the neighborhood schools have all the funding and bring in more teachers for more one to one learning? Just a thought.
