School can and should be different. I couldn't be more proud of this school and the impact it has had on students, families, and educators. My cup is full knowing that we matter and we've made a difference. Thank you @RootEdNC for telling our story. youtu.be/ZbXM3tA8TQs?feature… – at Boone, NC

In Sep, we launched this year’s @RootEdNC cohort at Polk Central Elementary. 5th graders walked an old nature trail, and looked for ways to improve it. Today they cut the “vine” on their new and improved trail. Kids and teachers do amazing things when they have the opportunity.
