It’s a pretty sweet deal to be an Arab colonizer in Judea & Samaria.
Step 1: Build an illegal home on empty land that you didn’t purchase.
Step 2: When the authorities come to remove it, call Al Jazeera and accuse the Israelis of ethnic cleansing.

So, what is it? Is being homosexual good or bad? Is this a scandal or was he living "his truth" (as you like to say)? Do you really even care?

Ladies and gentlemen, a new antizionist libel just dropped!
The Olive Libel!
In which dastardly Israel and Jews are engaged in a nefarious conspiracy to prevent Palestinians from harvesting their olives, unless of course some great white savior activists are standing bravely nearby to stop them. Also Jews must not be allowed to live in Judea because they will disrupt the olives or something. They might harvest seed oils instead for 'goyslop.' Can we mix in seed oils somehow?
Anyway, antizionism is a hate movement!

Soviet Jews like me speak Russian for the same reason the Navajo speak English. It's amazing how deeply the corrupt academia managed to entrench the idea colonialism is just a Western phenomenon, shielding Russia, Turkey, China, and the Arabs from well deserved scrutiny.

Every person behind the release of this dangerous traitor should be locked up with him in the same cell. This person is inciting violence against Jews on a daily basis and probably has a lot of blood on his hands already. Every second he walks free puts Jews in grave danger.

The issue is not that she’s wrong. She’s right.
There are absolutely people out there that might make a better husband or wife out there. You can do better.
On paper.
The first question is, are you going to meet that person? Are they gonna be interested? Are you going to end up in a relationship with them? Is it gonna work out?
And for how long?
The fact is, you can probably do better than that person, too. And the one after. And the one after.
What makes a marriage work is not whether you maximized your choice of partner or traded up. If you think that you’re better off divorcing because the next husband is going to be 2” taller, make $25k more a year and help with chores better, or that she’s gonna be 5 years younger, better looking, and nag less, you might be right.
It might even be a better marriage for a while. Until it isn’t. Reality is gonna settle in, and you’re gonna start thinking “I did better maybe I could do better again.”
That is, if you don’t end up in a series of broken relationships, or no relationship at all, and look back realizing that what you had was better.
Or you could have made it better.
Marriage is not about what your husband or wife brings to the table, but how much you’re willing to invest yourself.
And if you’re always thinking you can do better, you’ll never end up in a successful marriage.
But you might end up on a podcast telling others to make the same horrible choices you’ve made to justify to yourself why your life is such a mess.

A nation that continues to pour food, fuel, and weapons into the hands of the very community that slaughtered its people, took hostages, and still refuses to lay down its arms is not practicing compassion
It is practicing self destruction
Every truck that crosses into gaza is a transfer of strength to the enemy, a reward for murder, a signal that aggression carries no lasting price
Suicidal empathy is too polite a term for it
This is the deliberate choice to sustain the power of those who have declared their intent to destroy you, while your own citizens still live under threat and your own wounded still wait for justice
A people that will not deny its adversary the means of survival has already begun to surrender its future
I, for one, will not let it pass in silence, for the Lord is my shepard and He, in His infinite wisdom, has commanded us to destroy those who seek to destroy us
As we learn:
כל המרחם על האכזרים, סופו להתאכזר על הרחמנים
"He who is merciful to the cruel will eventually be cruel to the merciful"
May God help us all defend our country from evil

Dennis Ross and Obama are significantly to blame for the widespread destruction in Gaza.
They pushed to give Hamas the materials for building tunnels.
The tunnels are a major reason for surface destruction.
Well done far-left.
HOW HAMAS GOT THE CEMENT
The Israeli army last week dismantled a mile-long Hamas tunnel that it found underneath the area where Israeli forces currently are deployed in Gaza.
The Washington Post has estimated that Hamas built more than 1,300 terror tunnels in Gaza in the years preceding October 7, 2023.
So how did Hamas acquire the cement for all that construction, despite Israel’s blockade of such materials?
The terrorists had help from then-US Mideast envoy Dennis Ross—according to Ross himself.
In an op-ed in the Post on August 8, 2014, Ross admitted that, as an envoy for the Obama administration, he pressured Israel to allow Hamas to import cement. Ross made that demand even though the Israelis warned him that Hamas was using cement for military purposes.
“At times,” he wrote in the Post, “I argued with Israeli leaders and security officials, telling them they needed to allow more construction materials, including cement, into Gaza so that housing, schools and basic infrastructure could be built. They countered that Hamas would misuse it, and they were right.”
Against their better judgment, the Israelis gave in to Ross’s pressure. And they paid a steep price.
The tunnels were what made October 7 possible. That’s where the terrorists trained, out of sight of Israeli surveillance. That’s where they stored their weapons. And that’s where they enslaved, tortured, and raped Israeli hostages.
The same Dennis Ross recently wrote an op-ed in the Israeli press, in which he sought to influence how Israelis vote in their upcoming election.
Will Israeli voters now take advice from someone who has admitted that he helped enable Hamas to build the terror tunnels?

In their defense, he is at the center of their lives, and what they think about the most. They are very genuine about how much they care about their religion. They also see themselves as a continuation of our religion. They also know Judaism expects a Messiah. The leap to 'He has to be important/central to them too, but in a different way' is not much of a leap.
I have found that a good way to explain it to them is to respectfully point out that we think about him about as much as they think about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormons. The same way Mormons see themselves as a continuation/part of their religious world, but they themselves do not agree, this is how we feel about them. It's just not at the forefront of our minds when it comes to religion.
We do, on the other hand, certainly feel an ideological kinship as the West is built on a foundation that has many many common pillars in both of our religions, and we do share a text, even if we don't necessarily feel a religious kinship.
The irony being that in a certain sense Judaism has more of a religious kinship to Islam to a certain extent (strict monotheism and a system of law/oral traditions) which makes sense because Islam was created to be superimposed on Judaism, not as a continuation of it, but very little to no ideological kinship at all.
Ultimately, we function as part of their religious worldview, while they are not part of ours, so this is what creates the confusion that we must be just as invested, if only adversarially, in their worldview as they are. Which is definitely something that is puzzling to some, hard to fathom for others, and makes others very suspicious.

Xtians really are obsessed with our beliefs. Daughter has a good friend who is an evangelical, v philosemitic. Friend started asking her what Jews thought about Jesus. Daughter didn't know what to say, because we don't think anything at all!

The Bank of Israel forecasts excellent economic growth of 5.6% this year and 7.5% next year. Unemployment will fall to 3%, and inflation will remain at 1.6%. Perhaps trying to use war to destroy the economy of a country whose economy is based on war was not the brightest idea...
This is completely accurate, true, and I have experienced it first-hand:

"Pouring boiling water on someone trying to steal things is much worse than actually stealing things."
It's not.
"So you value things over people's lives?"
No. You value things over people's lives. That thing you want to steal wasn't given; it was earned. It was worked for. By stealing, you are stealing their life and their work.
"Louis Vuitton can afford to lose some purses."
Well no, but even so, you can't eat a purse, and you are, in fact, stealing the livelihood of the workers who work in that shop. You're stealing money from the building manager who makes sure the building is in working order.
The thing you're stealing is more than just an object. You're stealing someone's time and life. That is why property can be and should be defended to the extent that the defender is comfortable with, whether that is boiling water or a 9mm handgun. The defender is not the one putting the thief's life in danger. The thief is.
