I used to think the goal was to predict where the market was going. I spent years trying to get better at it Reading candles, studying patterns, layering indicators, etc. And I'd get it right sometimes. It was enough to keep me hooked... but not enough to actually make money consistently Then I realized traders who are actually profitable aren't predicting anything They were just waiting for the market to show them what it was doing, and then getting on board. Completely different game. Way less exciting, way more profitable
