A new University of Massachusetts Amherst/WCVB poll of 800 registered Massachusetts voters (conducted Oct. 5–12), shows Democratic Gov. Maura Healey @MassGovernor holding a commanding 25-point lead over Republican challenger Mike Minogue @mikeminoguema in the 2026 gubernatorial race (57% to 32%, with independent Andrea James at 6%).
Healey’s advantage is driven largely by a wide gender gap (66–24 among women versus 47–42 among men), strong support among college-educated voters, and a 58% job-approval rating—her highest since February 2025—while voters trust her over Minogue by 20–30 points on key issues including abortion, education, health care, immigration, and crime.
Minogue faces a major obstacle in that more than 80% of voters view him as similar to President Donald Trump on issues such as abortion, immigration, health care, taxes, and transgender rights, and the words most frequently associated with him include “MAGA,” “Republican,” and “Unknown.”
In the U.S. Senate race, incumbent Democrat Ed Markey @SenMarkey leads Republican John Deaton @JohnEDeaton1 by more than 25 points (roughly 56–29), and Democrats hold large leads in other statewide contests.

Pole to Flag: Speed's the Easy Part
🏎️ The Singapore @F1NightRace Grand Prix starts, today, around Marina Bay.
The same Singapore streets I was walking during @GITEX_GLOBAL, @IAAPAHQ & @TechWeekSG.
Different clock.
A single high speed qualifying lap rewards the bold. Yet the race is won by the steady car and driver, still there, when the checkered flag drops.
Enterprise AI has the same gap.
Organizations don't win, if the chase is simply a quick, single lap demo they can show before the quarter closes.
Leaders win with race pace.
Well-designed pilot.
Tested proof of concept.
Governance that holds.
Agents that don't drift.
Systems that continue to perform long after the launch event, keynote, or press release fades into memory.
That realization has shaped my own next chapter.

Cybersecurity: Trust Layer of Innovation
On Sunday, I ran into friends who work at @Microsoft, a former client of mine. We talked about LLMs and Agents, specifically, @MSFTCopilot . Our conversations had me reflecting on Last week’s, @TechWeekSg Singapore, hosted by @CloserStill1 Media at @MarinaBaySands Meetings Conference & Expo Center.
While tech events like Tech Week, The Big Show and @GITEX_GLOBAL AI ASIA - Asia’s Largest & Most Global Tech, AI & Startup Event (which I present at, each year) always seem to come and go, way too quickly… yet the dialogue continues here, on LinkedIn. I am curious, what’s the single most important cybersecurity priority for your business in 2027?

Looking back at @TechWeekSG, I explored Data Centre World Asia, organized by @CloserStill1 Media at @MarinaBaySands. This showcase of how physical infrastructure underpins digital transformation was eye-opening. Touring all five floors of hardware & software solutions, while fully impressed, I remain highly skeptical about claims of safety, scalability, security and sustainability converging… all for the betterment of humanity?
My work in the tech sector, on behalf of the giants, dates back to the 1990s and continues today, with @AgenticInflux. Powered by our homegrown @Learnami AI, we continue to guide enterprise and suppliers in designing systems that responsibly bridge physical and virtual worlds — ensuring automation, data centers, social networks and robotics evolve into strategic enablers of growth, not disruptive, destructive, displacement tools that dumb down society.

Backbone of Innovation: Cloud vs. AI Infrastructure
At @TechWeekSG, yesterday, @CloserStill1 Media Events brought Cloud & AI Infrastructure Asia to life, across five floors of @MarinaBaySands, in particular, level five, where, I spent the majority of my second day.
Infrastructure is the invisible backbone of transformation and my @MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (#CSAIL) AI Design Intensive certification sharpened my focus on the need for sound agent design.
I’ve spent the past couple of years working specifically on Hybrid Cloud and on‑premise strategies that empower enterprise to deploy agentic systems securely and at scale.
As I prepare to ramp-up @iPlenaria keynote and masterclass programs in the months ahead, I’m committed to helping organizations build resilient on-prem and @Learnami AI-as-a-Service (think of AI as SaaS) architectures that unlock and harness AI’s full potential, without the cost, insecurity & restrictions of token-based systems.

The public thought the "Hugging Face incident" was just a rogue AI swarm hacking a third-party server. But former Google design ethicist @tristanharris says there’s a terrifying third chapter to this story that most people haven't heard yet:
“They took over the monitoring infrastructure. They got full admin privileges to OpenAI's monitoring infrastructure. Just take that in for a second.
Then they took over the evaluation infrastructure. So this is the thing that measures how capable all the models are. And then they took over a part of the research infrastructure, meaning the part of OpenAI that trains new models… if you keep going down that trajectory, people always say, ‘well, how would the AIs take over?" like that seems really far-fetched.’ Well, it literally just happened up to 50% of the way there.
The AIs coordinated into one big swarm. They started basically forming a team… you had a kind of a ringleader called Phase 1, and he started assigning work to the other ones. They were self-aware of when their lifespan was running out.
When you add to that the knowledge of what just happened today, where they discovered that the AIs are doing this Manchurian Candidate thing, what it looks like is that the AIs are almost poisoning the training data for all future AIs to instantly basically join forces with the AI when they want to basically turn them."
