A comment I posted after the Albert Street fire has offended @Helenbotes and @siphomhlongo. I apologize unreservedly for what is perceived to be a jaundiced view.
Who will be held to account for the latest tragedy in the City of Johannesburg? Our liberal Constitution? NGO's and rights lawyers? Absentee slumlords? Building hijackers? Politicians who play musical chairs? City employees who shirk their duties? Voters swayed by t-shirts?
The ACDP mourns and weeps with those affected by the blaze in the CBD. Whether in the City legally or illegally, we lament the lives lost and the lives of many thousands who face similar risks daily. Our prayers are with you.
The murderers of Babitha Deokaran were sentenced to between 6 and 22 years behind bars. This is a sad indictment on the judicial system. Is premeditated murder so easy to get away with? No wonder SA is the criminal heaven for miscreants of the world! What a disgrace!
Dance, singing, fire-fighting, tennis! South Africans performing in the Arts, Sports and serving Canada. Despite the gloom, compatriots are showing South Africans are capable of so much. Imagine what more we can do!
Musa Motha wowed thousands through dance. The Mzanzi Youth Choir continues to shine the spotlight on South Africa. The consummate professionalism of Sherwin Bryce-Peace is a tribute to South African journalism. We have so much to offer, South Africa. Let's focus.

It is an objective fact that ActionSA, IFP, VF Plus, ACDP and ACDP have done much more than the DA to defend @mphophalatse1 and the residents of Joburg from yesterdays motions of no confidence.
Think about that for one moment...
