Remember when watching a special movie was an occasion? The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, The Miracle on 34th Street, etc., would be shown once a year. It was a family event. Repeated showings on Cable, VHS, DVDs, and streaming have ruined the unique nature of watching them.

Rabble-rousers proclaimed across the land,
"No Kings!" "No Kings!" "No Kings!"
stirring blind followers, as was planned,
to rally, and protest, and similar things,
to ignore facts and truth, and just repeat
the talking points that they've been fed,
and hence like sheep ...
"Just because something happens to be legal does not make it moral, ethical, or right. Abortion is perhaps one of the most dramatic examples of a situation where something is legal, but is very much a sin against God." -

While every Catholic understands why this is the case, most evangelicals do not. If they don’t understand why the Mass is significant or what the Eucharist is, they will simply equate “going to Mass” with “going to church.” So, in their minds, this seems ridiculous.
I think we will serve the Church better if we use our energy promoting the Mass rather than framing it as an either/or with scripture.
