Great Britain's 4x400m victory at the 1991 World Athletics Champs was 35 years ago today.
One of my favourite pieces, produced by @McIntoshRonald in his former life.

Big thanks to @alexarmstead & Ricky Wild for tonight's beautiful closing montage for the Winters:

Audience peak of 5.5m for the Men's Curling on BBC2 last night. Highest Winters peak since the Women's Curling Gold in Salt Lake 24 years ago. Given the additional online viewing probably the best since Torvill & Dean. Still gutted for the boys. @BBCSport #WinterOlympics2026
And a little @BBCSport broadcasting footnote - Ed Leigh becomes the 6th commentator to call a Summer & Winter GB Gold (Charlotte Worthington & Beth Shriever 2020, Toby Roberts 2024), joining David Coleman, Alan Weeks, Paul Dickenson, Dougie Donnelly & Steve Cram. @snowedleigh 👏
SCENES in the commentary box 🤩
Tim Warwood and Ed Leigh were living every second of Charlotte Bankes and Huw Nightingale's golden moment! 🥇

Shocked and saddened to hear that Jets great Nick Mangold has passed away aged just 41. Met him briefly after one of their Wembley games and he was a lovely guy. RIP Nick.
Seen it dozens and dozens of times, but that was still special.
Thank you @CurzonKnutsford #Jaws50
Hi @joelycett, congrats on winning the BAFTA once again and sorry not to catch you on the night. I had a slightly better view of the stage this year too 😂#BAFTATVAwards
In case you were wondering who had the fun of sitting behind Joe Lycett at tonight’s #BAFTAs then wonder no more. @BAFTA @joelycett

ALT A blue graphic card with pink and peach rippled circles. The card is titled "Sports Coverage” and the iconic BAFTA mask sits to the top left of the card with a typographic logo that reads 'Television Awards' with the P&O Cruises logo beside it. The nominees are listed on the right-hand side in alphabetical order.
Sad to hear of the passing of Paul Dickenson. Back in Sydney, I took this pic in the mixed zone after Denise won gold. Paul was a top man and a joy to work with, and his wonderful voice will forever grace some of GB's most iconic moments in Summer and Winter Olympics. RIP Dicko.
So proud of our team who put together this wonderful piece of work for today's #Wimbledon Ladies Final opening. 👏
Wimbledon Ladies’ Singles Final Opener @bbcsport
Really proud to have produced this piece alongside @stephen_gent who had the geniussss idea!
Shout out to @paddygearey for the incredible words & to my new bestie Helen Mirren for voicing it for us 🥹🤍

Today marks the 75th Anniversary of the 1948 London Olympics, and with it the start of the BBC’s history of televising the Games - not surprisingly the longest relationship the event has with any broadcaster.
The Saturday before #Wimbledon is always fun. Murray & Djokovic on Ct 14 while Billie Jean King plays incoming All England Club chair Debbie Jevans on Centre. 44 years ago they were both in the last 16 here.
