Unfortunately the golf world lost part of our family today, beloved golf writer Steve DiMeglio. I was always very close to Steve and we texted and talked about how he needed to keep fighting to get better so we could see each other in the Bahamas last month. And we did. I am so grateful for that. This a very sad day for all of golf. We have truly lost a friend.

My overall point: I was there before Parcells got there. Saw where this team was at. Was a fan of this team in the 70s as a teenager.… Everything changed the day this guy became head coach. Everything. Without Parcells, IMHO, maybe next two decades never happens for everybody.

Saw an analyst make this point (and forgive me for not remembering her name): authoritarians always make authoritarianism legal.
Slavery was legal. Jim Crow was legal. The steps Nazis took to murder six million human beings was legal. Red lining was legal.
