As more and more studies point to the harms of seed oils, most media outlets still conclude they are healthy and safe. While these articles may sound convincing, they are actually flawed, misleading, or outright wrong. Here are the top 10 flaws in pro-seed-oil reporting: 🧵

My one grandpa came to America from Italy, started a trash business, enlisted in the U.S. military & then worked in a mattress factory. My other grandpa came to America from Poland, worked in an Asbestos factory & got sent overseas by the U.S. military. My dad was a mailman & my mom worked at an office. With normal or average jobs, both generations were able to live the American dream to some extent. They always wanted me to do better than they did & give me things they never had. They succeeded and I worked my ass off to achieve some level of success. But I’m not delusional, nor am I some soulless scammer or Big Pharma CEO. I fully realize that the working class is getting screwed and the upper middle class is being relegated to a life quality that is worse than lower end working class from decades ago. I understand why billionaires and selfish businessmen don’t understand the backlash to replacing American workers with foreigners. They’re out of touch. Elon is cool & has done amazing things. I think he deserved the credit he was getting. But a lot of these other guys really never did deserve the praise & trust they got. A lot of them just saw an opportunity to make themselves famous & more wealthy using the growing right-leaning podcast world and the Trump/MAGA movement. This has been a mask off moment. A lot of them are such narcissist sociopaths that they will never see our reasons for getting upset. In many ways, their soulless, anti-American capitalistic scam mindset is what got them their wealth. To tell the truth about this would mean facing the man in the mirror & their entire personality/ego would fracture. They’d probably need therapy to deal with it. But hopefully a few of them just miscalculated and have been filthy rich for so long that they simply just missed the struggles of the working person. Much of the struggle is economic. That affects all people. But a lot of it is also demographic & the high trust America being a blast from the past. Most major cities have to lock up Walmart items like it’s a 3rd world country and can’t even have ground level windows without bars on them. My Italian grandfather told me current crime capitals were once safe cities where you could leave your door open at night. The demographics were different at that time. It is what it is. In many ways the greedy, billionaire parasitic-minded profiteers have united the left & the right on this issue. The free market without morality is a scam & everyone knows it. Who cares that you came to this country, exploited American workers & profited off some parasitic insurance scheme or Big Pharma scam? That’s not heroic in the slightest & it doesn’t make you an intelligent expert on every topic. Trump supporters were treated so terrible for the last decade that they were desperate for any powerful person that didn’t completely hate them. The moral of the story is that treating Americans better matters. We’re not replaceable cogs in a machine for you to abuse by exploiting foreigners to expand your profits. We have a history, a culture & a people that should be allowed to desire self-preservation. We need to be able to have complex conversations about immigration without being called racist and xenophobic. At the end of the day, no matter what you try to label it, the truth is the truth. And it always ages well.
