AI AGENTS SHOULDN’T JUST GIVE ANSWERS. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO PROVE HOW THEY GOT THERE. This is one of the most interesting problems @primus_labs is exploring with zkTLS. Imagine an AI agent executing a DeFi trade. It claims it checked the price oracle and received the latest data and followed the protocol’s rules before placing the order. But how can anyone verify those steps actually happened? Checking the final transaction isn’t always enough. The agent could have skipped an API call, relied on stale data or returned a manipulated result. Primus proposes using zkTLS to generate cryptographic proofs of critical HTTPS requests and their responses, without exposing sensitive session data or credentials. These proofs can then be checked against an execution policy, including whether required steps happened in the correct order. The important distinction is that this isn’t simply about verifying WHAT an AI agent produced. It’s about making the process behind its decision verifiable. For DeFi protocols and autonomous systems that could mean stronger accountability without forcing every API interaction and private detail into public view. My take as AI agents gain more authority to execute transactions, trust cannot depend on their outputs alone. VERIFIABLE EXECUTION could become a key building block for safer onchain AI.
