These are horrible news. And even more appalling is the fact that some are enabling this on purpose.
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children. I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

Ten years ago today. In just the last few days: Trump made a deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel, an economic lifeline for Putin; he and Elon Musk blamed each other for an order that slowed down Starlink satellite connectivity over Ukraine, hampering the country's defenses during a devastating Russian attack; and Trump waived sanctions on Russia that Congress, led by his late friend Lindsey Graham, had pushed for. Now, Putin has proposed a summit with Trump and Xi to decide Ukraine’s fate for them, bulldoze a century of international cooperation, and frame Russia as an equal to the U.S. and China. We’ll see if Putin’s puppet continues to dance on his strings.

Those who preach peace through capitulation won't tell you what russian occupation means. russians occupied Izyum for less than 6m. After liberation, we found mass graves of 447 ppl. Most of them were civilians — 215 women, 194 men and 5 children. Many bodies had signs of violent death. This is what people with proud 'Christian' in their bios are pushing Ukraine for.

‼️IMPORTANT: It is very important to explain the situation the Trump administration has put Ukraine in at this moment: Ukraine does not have access to Starshield, while Starlink speeds are insufficient for effective use either on the battlefield or for protecting civilians. On top of that, Washington is demanding that Ukraine stop targeting russian oil refineries. At the same time, the Pentagon has blocked supplies of Patriot missiles to Ukraine. Secretary @PeteHegseth himself has even blocked the possibility of receiving missiles already purchased by Europeans for Ukraine through the PURL program. And even that is not all. The U.S. is also blocking other countries from transferring Patriot missiles from their own stockpiles to Ukraine. These supplies are more than crucial for Ukrainians at this point because the Ukrainian people are enduring the worst russian attacks so far and preparing for even harder times this winter. And what is this for? Why? For God’s sake, I have no logical explanation for this.
NEW - TRUMP: Zelenskyy is using Diesel Refineries in Russia as a target, knowing that these attacks are seriously hurting the world diesel markets, including those in the United States. Farmers, ranchers, and businesses of all kinds are suffering greatly from this, but Russia is, nevertheless, sending, at a low price, millions of barrels of diesel to the World. “My decision on Russia is a very simple one. I am in the process of negotiating Peace in the war between Russia and Ukraine, and don’t want to do anything that will drive, foolishly, Russia away from the bargaining table. Great progress is being made, and that includes current hostage negotiations! Signing that document at this time will do that, and I can sign it later, or any time that I want! Perhaps more importantly, Russia is doing very little, if anything, to help the Islamic Republic of Iran, compared to what they could be doing, and I want to keep it that way, and will, unless stupid people get in the way. Lastly, Zelenskyy is using Diesel Refineries in Russia as a target, knowing that these attacks are seriously hurting the world diesel markets, including those in the United States. Farmers, ranchers, and businesses of all kinds are suffering greatly from this, but Russia is, nevertheless, sending, at a low price, millions of barrels of diesel to the World. Zelenskyy doesn’t care, and frankly, with all of the money that Europe is famously giving him, and that Crooked Joe Biden gave him in the past, he doesn’t want to end this war, and probably never did. He could have made a better deal two years ago than he can now. His country is in shambles, a large portion of his land is lost, his oceans and seas are gone, and his male population is low, wounded, and/or dead. I WANT THIS WAR END! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP” Sunday, Oct 18, 2026

How much easier it would have been for the Trump administration to make beautiful deals with russia today if only russian tanks hadn't gotten stuck in the mud, as Trump puts it, and this war would have ended in hours. He doesn't care that if Ukraine had failed, we'd then have had Bucha all across the country, with millions of us tortured and killed. But it would have happened in silence. Apologies for surviving, defending, and screaming the truth about the russian genocide.

Starshield was disabled for Ukraine by the White House and Elon Musk. Ukraine couldn’t defend itself against the Russian jet-powered drones. Innocent children died. Never forget.
At the funeral of one of the Ukrainian kids murdered by Russians this week, while the U.S. hobbled the country's defenses. Elizaveta Sorochyshyna, age 6. Relatives and friends left stuffed toys near her coffin. Elizaveta was one of three children among the 23 people killed by russians that day.

Yhtä huolestuttava on tavallisen kansalaisen asema. Omia tietoja voidaan myydä eteenpäin ilman, että ihminen käytännössä tietää, kenelle niitä myydään tai miten niitä käytetään. Tähän ei riitä pelkkä muistutus kansalaisten tietosuojasta. Ehdotan, että Suomi alkaisi valmistelemaan sijaintitietojen turvallisuutta koskevaa Datakilpi -lakipakettia. Sen tavoitteena olisi kieltää ihmisten tunnistamisen mahdollistavien tarkkojen sijaintihistorioiden kaupallinen jälleenmyynti, vahvistaa turvallisuuskriittisten tehtävien sijaintisuojaa ja antaa viranomaisille selkeät vastuut kaupallisen sijaintidatan aiheuttamien turvallisuusuhkien torjumiseksi. Samalla Suomen on ajettava EU:ssa tiukempia rajoituksia tunnistettavien ihmisten sijaintitietojen kaupalliselle jälleenmyynnille. Meidän on pystyttävä suojaamaan sekä kansalaisten yksityisyyttä että Suomen kansallista turvallisuutta myös maailmassa, jossa henkilötiedoista on tullut kansainvälistä kauppatavaraa. hs.fi/tutkiva/art-2000011978…

Trump on El-Sayed: "His name is actually Abduladadalalalala. It's Adulbabababababa Mohammed Al-Sayed. So his middle name is Mohammed. So I was right. He's a jihadist."

1/x According to current orbital elements, the Russian #KOSMOS 2612 satellite is now within 1-2 km of #ICEYE-X36. Based on current elements, it might come within meters of the latter within a few hours from now. This is an #RPO without consent. (cont.)

“we will pay any price….to assure the success and survival of liberty.” Is this still true? Do we prize liberty or do we prize power and purse? No more clear test than the choice between Ukraine and Russia. Abandon Ukraine and we abandon liberty. Eventually even our own.

Imagine if Europe, in the days after 9/11, had cleared its throat and announced: We have struck a tremendous deal with Osama bin Laden. We have lifted the sanctions on his organization, so he is now free to trade on the open market and bankroll his war against the United States. Bush must step down. The man has no cards. Has he even looked at his hand? But no. Europe did nothing of the sort. Europe did not sit down with a mass murderer and come home gushing about what a strong and reasonable fellow he turned out to be. Europe laced up its boots, flew to Afghanistan, stood shoulder to shoulder with the Americans and hunted that bearded wretch through every godforsaken mountain in the country, because that is what you do when a friend gets hit, and handing the attacker a shopping list while telling the victim to surrender is what you do when you have lost your mind.

I don’t understand how appeasing Russia, selling out Ukraine and behaving badly to your European allies is helping Trump or GOP in midterm elections. Can anybody explain it to me? 🤷‍♂️
Donald Trump is threatening to cripple Ukraine in its survival—and to expose Europe to Russian aggression—seemingly for the pitiful prize of minimising his losses in next month’s midterm elections economist.com/leaders/2026/1…

Russian elections are elections just like People’s democracies are democracies.
At least Russia has elections.

Russia holds elections. Independent monitors have documented that opposition candidates are often barred from ballots, critics face imprisonment, and there is pressure on voters from employers and officials. As a result they say the elections lack real competition. meduza.io/en/feature/202… themoscowtimes.com/2026/10/05/the… russian-election-monitor.org/formal-procedu…
