La basilica di San Bartolomeo si trova sull’Isola Tiberina, edificata alla fine del X secolo per volere dell’imperatore Ottone III su un antico tempio dedicato a Esculapio. Danneggiata in modo irreparabile da una piena nel 1557, l’edificio sacro fu ricostruito nel XVII secolo
