Friends, in the movie “Fury,” a group of soldiers—men who have been at each other’s throats—face a crossroads when their tank breaks down: Will they fight or flee? Brad Pitt’s character, the leader of the group, decides to stay and fight. And remarkably, despite the desperate situation before them, one by one the other men decide to stay with him. There is a beautiful scene in the tank where the men move beyond their differences and bond before the battle ensues. How did this happen? As I see it, they got over their resentments because they accepted a common mission. When you’re clear on your mission, you realize your life is not about you and let go of your ego. You are liberated to get on with the business of your life!

My thoughts in commemoration of Charlie Kirk’s life and legacy.
