Summer is over. The kids are all in school. And I already miss them. It’s always a joke that parents cheer when the kids go back after summer break, but I’m not one of them. I like my kids. I like spending time with them. I like them being in our home. I like our family being together. And I realize that life is a vapor and they are growing older much more quickly than I was prepared for. Maybe l’m becoming a sappy parent, but the start of the school year is always a reality check. Time is a thief.

I just left my Athens prayer group that I have been meeting with for 25years only to come home to find my beautiful wife of almost 40 years dancing and praising Jesus with the music blaring!! It just doesn’t get better than that!! I am so blessed!
