🐸⚔️ What if The Lord of the Rings crossed paths with the Muppets?
That is the basic premise of Land of Eem, a TTRPG by @bencosta and James Park (@ricketystitch). Unlike other darker RPGs, in here you play a quirky adventurer exploring ruins, looking for treasures and fighting absurd creatures.

You don't play a character. You play one aspect of one — fear, curiosity, anger — while the group moves through events with no reasonable explanation.
The table works together to understand what's happening. The tower works against you.

Just started playing Isle of Dread with @RolePerSecond using Swords & Wizardry.
What I really like about the sessions so far is that we’re truly telling a story between all of us. I get that sometimes some railroading is required, like when you have a group of new players or you’re running a public event at a convention (like @Gen_Con).
But for a regular weekly session, it’s very satisfying as a GM when the players take the story into areas you weren’t expecting. At that point, it truly becomes a shared experience, and the adventure becomes your adventure.

o sea, pathfinder 2e.
