When you look at others with their lands and gold...Christ has promised you His wealth untold...money cannot buy...your home on high. Count your blessings, name them one by one; Count your blessings, see what God hath done...Count your many blessings, see what God hath done.

I attended church in a remote Africa village with some of the poorest Christian’s on the planet Sunday. I couldn’t understand most of the worship time. Then I recognized the Count Your Many Blessings tune, which I haven’t sung for 43 years. Can’t stop thinking about it.

The apostle says, “Let this mind be also in you…”

For this is what the Lord said to me with great power, to keep me from going the way of this people: “Do not call everything an alliance. Do not fear what they fear; do not be terrified. You are to regard only the Lord of Hosts as holy. Only He should be feared, held in awe.”
