Bernie is doing the right thing by pushing for reform — a chance for Dems to show they actually stand with workers, and highlight the fact that Trump doesn’t. But will they?
👇🏽 per @lhfang — @SenSanders wisely pressing the H-1B Visa reform issue to show who is actually on the side of 🇺🇸 workers, driving the wedge between Trump and his base as Trump sides with Elon & oligarchs who abuse the system.

This American has Stage 4 cancer and there is no cure
She has insurance but she just received a letter from her health insurance that they are not covering her treatment
“One chemo session costs $15,000”
“My doctor confirmed that I got approval from my insurance company before I started the chemo. I've been on it for a few months now — The insurance company suddenly decided that they're not going to cover the treatments anymore”
She has to get this $15,000 treatment “once every 3 weeks”
“Honestly, this letter feels like a threat. It feels like my life is being threatened and saying, we will not pay for your life-saving treatment feels like a threat on my life.”
We need to share these stories because one day this could be any of us
We need SERIOUS reform of our healthcare industry in America

Replying to @TheDemocrats
Is it the Democratic Party’s official position that billionaire donors should not have the ability to donate and drive policy decisions?
That would be great news, if so.

62% of Americans support Medicare for All. Period.
64% of Americans support Medicare for All, even if it means paying more in taxes.

The NYT published a report on 10/12/24 about how revealed internal docs showed that Hamas tried to bring Iran into the 10/7 attack, which would have meant that Iran knew about the plans & was culpable. The story dropped in the midst of Israeli bombings of Lebanon, fight against Hezbollah & increasing threats against Iran.
Now we know that a key source for the story, used for verification, doubted the veracity of these documents & was denied access to the docs beyond a single page.
Look at the byline. Ronen Bergman served in IDF intelligence. Rasgon - former Jpost and Times of Israel reporter - co-wrote a New Yorker piece in Oct ‘23 justifying the targeting of Palestinian journalists.

HAYES: “It feels like a moment of genuine madness.”
RBG hung on too long. Biden hung on too long. Feinstein, etc — yet House Dems still chose 75yo Gerry Connolly with esophageal cancer over rising star @AOC, refusing to learn the lesson.

The Democratic Party is deeply committed to creating too-on-the-nose metaphors. It's one thing they are good at.
House Democrats just picked someone who is literally dying to be ranking member of a powerful watchdog committee

It's beyond unacceptable that Amazon, the 2nd largest corporation in America, owned by Jeff Bezos, the 2nd wealthiest person on Earth, continues to put their huge profits ahead of the health & safety of their workers.
Sadly, that's precisely what my 160-page report today found.

Right now Briana Boston is under house arrest, charged with terrorism, & faces 15 years prison for saying “Delay defend deny you’re next” to an insurance company, while Judge Conahan, who trafficked kids for $2.8M cash, & enabled several child deaths, is out free
