Keys to GOP revival by 2028: 1/ Get out of Iran War asap; 2/ Quit propping up Ukraine war w/ Ratboy at CIA; 3/ Go full throttle on #MAHA; 4/ Enforce immigration laws against big corporations; 5/ Release all Epstein files & prosecute. Edge: Dems will take the bait on 2-4.

Neocons are the worst kind of losers because they refuse to take responsibility for any disaster they cause, or take accountability for any mistake they make, no matter how dire. The only thing more predictable than them deflecting blame is them turning on President Trump.

The Iran War is the greatest political blunder in the last two decades at least. A catastrophically stupid decision. An unforgivable betrayal of America First principles.

The reason most Americans keep getting poorer is that neither party will stop the runaway deficit spending that leads the Fed to create inflation. Frustrated voters blame incumbent presidents for rising prices that keep going higher no matter which party occupies the White House.

Aged well.
It won't matter if the war is seen as a success The key to the #MAGA majority being maintained was the anti-war, domestic focus of the policy agenda. That is now dead. Millions of #MAGA anti-war voters will feel betrayed. They ain't coming back. That is why #MAGA is dead.

I've been saying this for a year this month. Mamdani played Trump like a fiddle. youtu.be/EdONml0Ne7I?is=FGQY…
NEW The Wall Street Journal reports that Republicans had planned on making New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani the face of the Democratic Party in an effort to paint Democrats as out of touch. That plan was upended when Trump accepted Mamdani’s invitation to meet at Gracie Mansion. House Republicans were “apoplectic,” and Speaker Mike Johnson later called the meeting an unforced error. Exactly!
To be fair, who would've thought that throwing your strongest supporters under the bus and then driving back and forth over them while yelling "hahaha who needs you" would lead to such a bad outcome for your party?

Even the NYT admits a Lula appointee "extended" the election so they could steal it from Bolsanoro.
BREAKING: Brazil's election could be annulled, according to the New York Times. Electoral lawyers say Brazil's current situation is "extremely serious" and a "critical situation." The NYT reports that confusion over a last-minute voting extension by Justice Cristiano Zanin, who was appointed by Lula, could lead to the election being annulled. "This is an extremely serious, critical situation," said electoral lawyer Priscilla Sodré Pereira to the New York Times. When Zanin made the last-minute decision to extend voting hours, some polling stations had already closed and shut down their voting machines. They could not reopen. "Fernando Neisser, an electoral law professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas, a Brazilian research institute, said the election could be annulled if the margin is very narrow and it is shown that polling stations stayed open longer in areas that strongly favor one candidate," the NYT reported. Wow.

The NYC DSA is an organization of mostly wealthy, white gentrifiers and all kinds of transplants. These zealots have a long history of running people of color out of communities, taking over entire neighborhoods, renaming them “The Commie Corridor,” and forcing thousands to migrate elsewhere. Sadly, newcomers taking over these areas and replacing community leadership couldn’t find the local bodega without Google Maps. jcpolanco.substack.com/p/it-…

Oil is above $100. The main reason it's not closer to $150 is all the oil being released from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. That will stop after the midterms. When it becomes obvious that inflation will outpace Fed rate hikes, the dollar will fall, sending oil prices soaring.

Let me explain what’s happening here. Between now and December, New York State, New York City and their public authorities plan to sell $8 billion in bonds. Take out the refinancing, and $4.7 billion of it is brand-new borrowing. So congrats, New York. You just added $4.7 billion to your credit card bill, on top of a $217 billion tab you're already carrying. Here's the part nobody in Albany says out loud: the payment on that debt has grown to an estimated $1.5 billion a month! Debt gets paid first. Before a single cop. Before a single teacher. Before one pothole is filled. And we're not the ones who'll finish paying it off. These bonds run 20 and 30 years. This is debt we're handing to our kids and grandkids, a bill they never voted for and can't refuse. And it gets announced with a one-line post and a spreadsheet, as if it's routine. It shouldn't be routine. The Comptroller is supposed to be the taxpayer's watchdog, not the scheduler for more debt. I've spent my career in capital markets. I know what this paper costs and who ends up paying for it. You do, and so will your children. New York deserves a Comptroller who asks "why?" before signing off.
Today I announced a tentative schedule of planned bond sales for New York State, NYC and their major public authorities for 4Q of 2026. osc.ny.gov/files/debt/pdf/de…

Horrible. I’m seeing this in subway stations downtown too. It’s gotten worse in the past year.
This is 125 St station, a result of the federally illegal drug injection site @_OnPointNYC one block away. This is tragic. Addicts need a place to recover from addiction, not a "safe" place to do drugs. Shut down illegal drug site @_OnPointNYC

How many more people have to die in our subways in unprovoked attacks? Are we going to just pretend this is normal? People being burned alive, stabbed and shot to death on their way to work. Often it will be someone with a severe mental illness or another who a judge let out early. Who is going to be held to account? nydailynews.com/2026/10/01/n…
