Donald Trump does not have a public mandate. He is about to do a bunch of really unpopular things: mass deportation, tarrifs, trying to undue the ACA, tax cuts for the mega rich. He barely won this election, and these things are really unpopular.

The idea of Mass Deportation is disgusting & politically toxic. Any rise in support is due to people not knowing what it entails. As @rodriguezmaria told @axios: "We have to tell that story and not let Trump define immigration for our country." axios.com/2024/10/22/trump-m…… A mini

Can confirm this latest reporting from @Rafael_Bernal_ @thehill with data showing @VP @KamalaHarris posting very strong favorability ratings among Latino voters. Our data suggests Harris is especially strong with young Latinos, undecided/3rd party voters, and women. Harris has a real opportunity to energize and boost the Latino vote and I suspect we will start seeing more and more data like this ⬇️ thehill.com/homenews/campaig…

Early read on Harris from a NV poll of Latinos (7/11-7/15): from the jump, the VP wins back some Latinos who had slipped away from Biden — and notably pulls a chunk who said they would sit out a Biden/Trump rematch. (This is in-poll mov’t.)

Apparently, there were no black or latino people ever qualified to serve as one of Trump’s lawyers, running mates, campaign managers, Chiefs of Staff, AGs, or Secretaries of Defense, State, Treasury, or Homeland Security, but they should vote for him because he’s a felon.

The Florida Senate and a House committee passed a DeSantis backed bill giving $10 million for his cruel and dumb migrant flights program. This awful bill does nothing to help Floridians and it’s a waste of our tax dollars, which will go to contractors who donate to GOP campaigns.
