US yields are rising again despite being flooded with fake peace deals.
The last thing the US needs while fighting a major war is rising funding costs...
The longer this war drags on, the more likely we are to see YCC
Brace for inflation

BREAKING: US margin debt jumped +$26 billion in September, to $1.48 trillion, the 2nd-highest level on record.
Since the start of 2026, margin debt has surged +$255 billion, or +21%.
As a % of GDP, this metric is up to a record 4.5%, surpassing the previous peak of 3.6% set in 2021.
At the same time, the margin debt-to-M2 money supply ratio is up to 6.3%, the 3rd-highest level on record.
By comparison, this ratio peaked at 6.4% during the 2000 Dot-Com Bubble.

The federal deficit has just climbed back above 6% of GDP.
That’s MORE THAN DOUBLE US Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent’s 3% deficit target.
BESSENT IS BLOWING SMOKE AND HAS NO CREDIBILITY.

Good Luck with that "Strong Economy".
There are NO signs of it. On the Contrary!
It is the weakest it has ever been outside severe recessions. And it speaks volumes about how bad it is going to get.
NAHB leads Unemployment.
It will be UGLY.

This is not 1980... Don't sell your gold.
Back then, US debt to GDP was ~30%, which enabled Volcker to hike rates aggressively to kill inflation.
But inflation wasn't the only thing he killed... He also plunged the US into a recession.
Today, with debt to GDP above 100% and deficits running at 6% of GDP, the US can afford neither a recession nor sustained higher rates.
In a recession, deficits blow out to 7-10% of GDP... at a time when foreign investors are increasingly unwilling to fund endless US deficits...
Forcing the Fed to let the money printer go wild.
Warsh can talk tough like Volcker, but the fiscal situation will force him to inflate the debt away...
So that a future Volcker can eventually hike rates to kill inflation.
Until that happens, we don't own enough gold for what's coming.
