The 2 most common frustrations we hear from customers:
1. The fee they were quoted isn't the fee on their statement - FX markups &
cross-border fees on every payment that nobody mentioned
2. Their own revenue takes days to land from international buyers
Inflowpay was built to fix both- Transparent pricing and money that moves fast
ps: the checkout is as smooth as the video makes it look
see for yourself :) inflowpay.com
merchants selling into brazil or nigeria lose around a third of their sales and most never find out why
the customer wanted to buy, had the money, hit purchase, and their bank declined it
not because of fraud - a foreign charge from a company the bank doesn't know just gets declined by default
in nigeria it's even stricter, international card limits got cut to $20 a month
and in brazil most people don't pay by card online anymore, pix handles more volume than cards and cash combined, and most foreign checkouts don't offer it
the fix is boring: run the same card through a local acquirer and it approves instantly
the sale was there, the bank killed it, and your dashboard just says declined
spoke to 5 saas founders this week about payments
every one had a stripe freeze story, none did anything wrong
stripe freezing your funds isn't a bug, it's the business model
they hold risk, you're the risk
the second your numbers look unusual, including unusually good, the freeze button is right there
and there's often no way to resolve it
insane business model when you think about how big they got off it
@matiasbaglieri exactly that, and the merchant eats 100% of that false positive
the fix isn't no monitoring, it's monitoring by people instead of models, big processors underwrite with an algorithm and freeze first, we underwrite knowing the merchant
that's the gap we're building inflow for
app founders think 30% is the cost of doing business on iOS, it's not
30% on payments, plus you lose customer data, so you can't optimize your ad spend because apple won't let you use the data you earned
web checkout fixes all of it
yet most apps still only process through the app store
most founders still don't know this is an option, or they know and just don't do it
at some point it stops being apple's fault
your payment provider's pricing page shows you one number
your bank statement shows you a different one
that's why i joined inflow. the problem was obvious the moment i saw it
trusted by unicorns and publicly traded companies for good reason
