For somebody who needed this…
Same water, different price.
$2 at the store. $8 at the airport.
The value didn’t change, the environment did.
Know your value. What you bring matters.
Don’t let the wrong environment make you question your worth. #YouGotThis

Time is short. We’re not going to be here forever. Don’t waste another minute fighting with the crows, arguing with the chickens, debating with the turkeys. Be an eagle. Start rising above that.

We are BELIEVING in our T’s & S’s this year @salyardsms! Mysteries are being solved, we’re analyzing graphs/charts, we’re converting fractions & decimals, we’re celebrating each other, & we’re already speaking in full French sentences. #CFISDspirit #SalyardsBelieves @CyFairISD

Do you realize what you have? You’re not just ordinary, doing life on your own, limited by your environment, your education, your connections, your size. No, the gracious hand of God is on you: a favor that empowers, enables, opens doors, and keeps enemies from defeating you.

The most important thing for principals to understand, is that the teachers are the most important resource in the building.

Last week 2025 STAAR test results dropped in TX & one thing is clear:
A rigged STAAR is setting up schools & districts for TAKEOVER.
Ex: 50% of 3rd graders got a ZERO on the typed essay. When 50% get a 0, there’s something wrong w/the test, not the kid.🧵

Rep. @JamesTalarico statement on the school finance deal, which provides a $0 increase to the Basic Allotment:
"The schoolhouse is burning to the ground — and instead of grabbing the fire hose, Texas Republicans are throwing a cup of water on the flames."
