Of nearly 200 countries worldwide, Israel ranks among the 20 longest-standing continuous electoral democracies. 🇮🇱 After regaining independence in 1948, Israel has maintained its parliamentary democracy for 78 years. A young country with a long democratic tradition.

“They wanted the world to see what they did to her.” Palestinian Hamas filmed its atrocities on October 7. Israeli women were raped, tortured and murdered. The world saw. Too many chose denial over compassion. wsj.com/opinion/free-express…

The reality of Palestinian violence in Judea and Samaria. Yesterday, Palestinian attackers set fire to the Tomb of Eleazar the Priest (son of Aaron, brother of Moses, and High Priest of Israel during the biblical period) in Awarta, Samaria, damaging a Jewish holy site. Another example of the ongoing wave of Palestinian violence targeting Jews and Jewish heritage in Judea and Samaria. jsrcenter.org/en/articles/ar…

America can never lose sight of the fact that Israel is the good guy and that Qatar and Iran, including its proxies Hamas and Hezbollah, are the bad guys who chant “Death to America!” Our partnership with Israel is the model of how America First alliances should operate to advance the economic and national security of the United States 🇺🇸

This was not about harvesting olives. It was about harvesting headlines. Brad Lander’s latest stunt is nothing more than a calculated political provocation. Lander traveled to a foreign country, deliberately entered a restricted security area, and participated in an unauthorized activity without the required coordination. What makes this stunt even more outrageous is that his own team contacted Israeli representatives in the United States ahead of his visit and was explicitly informed that proper coordination with the relevant authorities was required. He chose to ignore those instructions. At a time of heightened security tensions, Israeli security forces have a responsibility to protect lives, prevent dangerous incidents, and maintain public order. Had anyone been injured as a result of his reckless political theater, Lander would undoubtedly have been among the first to demand that Israeli authorities intervene and provide protection. Brad Lander came looking for a confrontation. Now he is pretending to be its victim.

Sir David Bell’s report into antisemitism in British schools and Colleges exposes a shocking reality. These findings are a damning indictment of the failure to protect Jewish pupils amid rising antisemitism.
Sir David Bell’s report into antisemitism in British schools and Colleges exposes a shocking reality: three in five Jewish students have experienced antisemitism, yet fewer than half believe it would be addressed if they reported it. These findings are a damning indictment of the failure to protect Jewish pupils amid rising antisemitism. As the report rightly recommends, antisemitism must be named for what it is, not obscured by generic condemnations of hate. Britain’s responsibility to tackle antisemitism cannot stop at the school gates. It must extend to every corner of society, including education unions, universities and teaching staff, driving fundamental, systemic change to confront the hatred and incitement that have increasingly poisoned Britain’s streets in recent years. We welcome the report’s clear call for action. Schools, colleges and unions must be held accountable and take urgent, decisive action to confront antisemitism, protect Jewish pupils and ensure that no student is left to face hatred in silence. This is a step in the right direction.

Another diplomatic achievement: Israel joins the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) as a Forum Partner. The Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Forum, Baron Divavesi Waqa, has informed me that Israel has been accepted as a Forum Partner, following a decision at the meeting of the Forum’s member state leaders in Palau. This follows my visit to Fiji in June, where I met with the Secretary General and presented Israel’s request to join the Forum. Strengthening ties with the Pacific Island nations is one of my objectives. Earlier this year, I opened Israel’s Embassy in Fiji, which also serves nine other Pacific Island nations, all friendly to Israel. Under the current government, three of these countries, Papua New Guinea, Fiji and Nauru, have opened embassies in Jerusalem. As a Forum Partner, Israel will participate in a framework for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, based on regional priorities and Israel’s expertise in water management, desalination, agriculture, tackling climate change, innovation and sustainable development. Israel and the Forum will also develop a joint action plan setting out practical areas of cooperation and a mechanism to monitor progress.

Brett McGurk confirms what many already knew: the @IntlCrimCourt Prosecutor’s sudden request for arrest warrants was never about justice . It was always about political and personal gain for a now-discredited prosecutor.
I knew former ICC prosecutor Karim Khan from his work investigating ISIS crimes against the Yazidis. On May 19, 2024, I helped secure the access he sought in Israel. Israel agreed. The next day, he announced his application for warrants. Here’s the story. From my conversation with @IgnatiusPost on BRINK at @AtlanticCouncil.

Allowing Malaysia to exclude Israeli players makes a mockery of @FIDE_chess and its "We Are One Family" motto. This is pure discrimination. No equal access, no tournament. Strip Malaysia of hosting rights and relocate the event now!.
No! @FIDE_chess must SHIFT THE EVENT . “The Malaysian authorities are simply unwilling to allow Israelis to represent Israel at a World Championship. As far as they are concerned, Israel does not exist. After 78 years of statehood, and especially following October 7, we as Israelis cannot allow such a situation to stand.” THIS IS #ANTISEMiTISM! matzav.com/checkmate-for-isr…

The reality of Palestinian violence in Judea and Samaria. On October 19, Palestinian attackers targeted a vehicle carrying civilians in the Binyamin region. Stones rained down on the group, shattering a vehicle window and injuring a woman. Participants described moments of sheer terror. Another example of the wave of sustained Palestinian violence threatening innocent civilians in Judea and Samaria.
