Had to address some last-minute questions courtesy of the copy-editing process, but with that now well and truly done, Harlan Ellison's THE LAST DANGEROUS VISIONS goes into physical production at the publisher and will hit bookstores on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024.

Last night in Brooklyn: DA asked for $1500 bail on someone accused of stealing 4 bars of SOAP, knowing that bail would likely mean he’d miss the first day of a back to work program that started today. The person supports 5 kids btwn ages 1-10. Thankfully judge agreed to release.

So why not *just* say anarchist, then?
1- There are illiberal and unlibertarian anarchists, and distinction needs to be made from them.

I agree that liberalism should be emphasized (c4ss.org/content/49939). But that has problems of its own.
1- Conflation with progs, 2- Conflation with reformists / moderates, 3- The reason behind 1&2, which is that liberalism is a broader term. Libertarians should remember the -
... People have been rightfully horrified at Dylann Roof, but there's an uncomfortable similarity with ordinary soldiers who massacre civilians in the name of some bullshit theory they've unquestioningly accepted, e.g. "blowing up this family here protects Americans back home."
When Dylann Roof was arrested, he told the cops (truthfully? who knows?) that he felt bad about killing the black people at the church who'd been so nice to him, but he'd thought had to do it because there was a race war on, and blacks represented a threat to the white race. ...
