This is amazing! I’m proud to be associated with such a beautiful movie + with the great director/screenwriter, Chris Sanders. And selfishly, it’s always nice when I get a little credit for dreaming up The Wild Robot.

Years ago, the @highlinenyc inspired me to write a children’s novel called #TheWildRobot which then inspired the team at @Dreamworks to make #TheWildRobotMovie. Funny how things work.

I ❤️ it when publishers let me design separate case covers for my books. It’s such a fun “hidden” detail that makes holding a physical book feel even more special. Wait til you see the case cover I designed for my upcoming picture book THE WILD ROBOT ON THE ISLAND! #TheWildRobot

I think I'll keep showing scenes from the #thewildrobotmovie and how I sketched/illustrated those scenes in the book. Here Roz studies wildlife to learn to speak with animals. In my book, Roz camouflages herself and then hides, so as to not scare off the animals. #thewildrobot
