There are pros and cons to NIL in college football, but one thing you can’t deny is what it’s done for the level of competition. It’s been magnificent! For years, the traditional powerhouse programs, the so-called blue bloods, were expected to dominate season after season. Now, we’re seeing that some of those programs aren’t nearly as untouchable as people thought they were. And I think that’s what really bothers a lot of people about NIL. The playing field is becoming more competitive, the gap is closing, and the traditional powers can no longer take winning for granted. Personally, I love it! College football is more competitive, more unpredictable, and more exciting than it’s been in years. That’s good for the game!
