Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D., Mich.) just gave an interview where she said the quiet part out loud. She intends to unleash a slew of investigations to deter young people from even considering supporting the Administration … if they know what is good for them. jonathanturley.org/2026/10/1…

A warning to the U.S.: My dear American friends, I say this with love, as someone who has lived among you and owes you a great deal: your midterms are on November 3rd. And the same alliance is growing inside your Democratic Party. The same far-left wing that treats disorder as protest and police as the enemy. The same activists who refuse to draw a line between legitimate dissent and those who openly despise the West. The same politicians who think tolerance means tolerating everything, including the people who want to burn it down. It always starts with excuses. Then comes impunity. Then come the flames. Same causes, same effects. If you create the conditions we created, you will get exactly what we got tonight. France was the country of the Enlightenment, of cathedrals and town halls that stood for centuries. Tonight, one of them collapsed live on social media while the government called for calm. My dear American friends, the only advantage you have over us is that you've been warned. Vote like your city hall depends on it. Because one day, it will. “
Tonight, France burned. America, you should be watching very carefully. Today, October 17, 2026, more than half a million people marched across France against the cost of living. By 8pm, around 400 had been arrested. In Paris, police turned water cannons on the crowds at Place de la République, and one march was stopped 150 meters from the Élysée Palace. Of the 195 people arrested in the capital by the afternoon, only one actually lived in Paris. Mobs forced their way into the city halls of Marseille and Lille. In Lyon, a tourism office was set on fire. In Rennes, barricades burned. Near Limoges, a highway was blocked and police cars were torched. And then came Limoges. A crowd of very young people stormed the city hall, a protected historic monument built in the 1880s. They flipped police cars in front of it and set them ablaze, then set the building itself on fire. The flames took the roof, the wedding hall, and the civil registry, the office that records every birth, every marriage, every death in the city. Tonight, the bell tower that has crowned Limoges for nearly 150 years collapsed. The mayor's response: "It's a monument that is burning, not the Republic." That is the problem in one sentence. Our leaders still think words can put out fires. None of this came out of nowhere. For twenty years, the French political class has excused everything. Every riot was "anger." Every burned car was a "social symptom." Every attack on police was "a reaction to provocation." And the hard left, La France Insoumise, which officially backed today's mobilization, built its electoral machine on an alliance with political Islamism: refusing to condemn, refusing to name, trading secularism and public order for votes. In France we have a word for it. Islamo-gauchisme. Islamo-leftism. Tonight you saw where that culture of excuse ends. A country where a mob can burn down a town hall, and the state arrives after the roof has already fallen in. My dear American friends, I say this with love, as someone who has lived among you and owes you a great deal: your midterms are on November 3rd. And the same alliance is growing inside your Democratic Party. The same far-left wing that treats disorder as protest and police as the enemy. Never forget that days after Charlie’s assassination, Ilhan Omar said his legacy “should be in the dust bin of history” and the real “jarring” thing was not his murder, but the fact that people want to honor him. Justice will be served soon enough…

One of the greatest living Americans. By never backing down, he exposed one of the Left’s greatest fears: an educated Black man who thinks for himself and rejects their scraps of victimhood.
35 YEARS AGO TODAY, Justice Clarence Thomas was confirmed by a vote of 52-48 after the Democrats launched an all-out war to destroy him. They failed spectacularly. Despite the most vicious smears and lies, Justice Thomas never backed down. In a legendary exchange during the hearing, when Justice Thomas was told by Senator Hatch that there were rumors that he was going to withdraw, Justice Thomas said, “I would rather die than withdraw. If they’re going to kill me, they’re going to kill me . . . I’d rather die than withdraw from the process, not for the purpose of serving on the Supreme Court but for the purpose of not being driven out of this process... I’ve never run from bullies. I never cry uncle and I’m not going to cry uncle today whether I want to be on the Supreme Court or not.” God Bless Justice Thomas for his courage and perseverance in the face of such an outrageous assault. Justice Thomas is now our second longest serving Justice in American history, and more important, he has had more impact on American jurisprudence than any Justice in history. His opinions have led the way in returning the Court’s jurisprudence to the Constitution’s original meaning. Justice Thomas is an American hero and our nation’s greatest justice.

Jack Smith recently said that his investigation wasn’t motivated by partisan politics. Now we’ve learned the Biden DOJ collected the names, birthdays, home addresses, emails, and voter registrations of at least 639,000 everyday Republicans, including those who purchased MAGA hats. That’s the very definition of Biden’s DOJ targeting political opponents, and it’s a staggering violation of Americans’ privacy. dailycaller.com/2026/10/14/j…

🚨 BREAKING. Scott Bessent just announced the Internal Revenue Service is launching MASSIVE AUDITS of financial institutions that facilitated the laundering of Minnesota funds. Read that again. Banks. MSBs. Financial middlemen. Anyone who helped move dirty money is about to get TORCHED. For once, the IRS is being deployed FOR AMERICANS FIRST — not against working families. Follow the money. Audit everything. Prosecute whoever broke the law. Thank you, Sec. Bessent. 🇺🇸 Do you firmly support Scott on this?

Repulsive treatment of our flag and utter disrespect for our country. Stark contrast to how early 20th century immigrants from Europe treated their new home in America.

A video shows Abdul El-Sayed suggesting a little "tweak" to the Constitution. That "tweak" would be the elimination of the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms. foxnews.com/opinion/el-sayed… The 40% of Michiganders who own guns might find this a bit more than just being tweaky.

“Ask yourself a simple question. Why is almost every celebrity on the same side? “Actors, singers, late-night hosts, award-show presenters. Thousands of people with different backgrounds, different lives, different temperaments. And somehow, on every major issue, they land on the exact same opinion, at the exact same moment, with the exact same hashtags. Free minds don't behave like that. An ecosystem does. “Now ask a second question. Elon Musk is landing rockets on their own tails. He's bringing internet to villages that never had a phone line. He's building cars that drive themselves and implants that let paralyzed people move a cursor with their thoughts. Artists are supposed to be the ones who dream about the future. Here is a man actually building it. How many of them stand next to him? A handful. Why? “Because Hollywood is not a free market of talent. It's a royal court. “A young actor doesn't make it because he's good. Hundreds are good. He makes it because someone lets him in: an agent, a casting director, a producer, a studio, an awards committee. Every step is a gate, and every gate has a keeper. When your whole career depends on a few rooms, you learn very quickly what can be said in those rooms and what can't. “This is how it works. First you stay silent. Then you nod. Then you repeat. Then you believe. Compromise never arrives all at once. It arrives one dinner, one role, one red carpet at a time. And once you've given up enough, you need the system to stay in place, because the system is the only thing that makes the sacrifice worth it. “Want to see the whole mechanism in a single story? For decades, one of the most powerful producers in Hollywood was the subject of accusations from dozens of women, and much of the industry treated it as an open secret. A host even joked about it at an Oscar nominations announcement, and the room laughed. Speaking up seriously meant losing everything. When the truth finally broke, the same industry dressed in black and applauded its own courage. Silence while it pays. Virtue once it's safe. That's the system. “And that's the real lie. Not that these people are monsters. Most aren't. The lie is calling it courage. Real courage costs you something. Saying what every room in town already applauds costs nothing. Saying the opposite is what costs. That's why so few artists stand with Elon. Not because they've studied his ideas and rejected them, but because standing there is a career risk they can't afford. “Look at what happened to him when he left the consensus. Advertisers fled. Friends disappeared. Invitations stopped. He could afford it. Almost nobody else can. That tells you exactly how free that world really is. “So wake up. Stop taking your political cues from people whose paycheck depends on agreeing. A celebrity endorsement is not an argument. It's a loyalty signal. Your vote, your convictions, your children's future: don't outsource them to people who are paid to recite lines someone else wrote. “The people who build the future rarely get applause from the people who perform it. “Think for yourself. It's the most American thing you can do.” —Brivael Le Pogam (@brivael), translated from French

Shame on all the dads, granddads and brothers who have let this bullshit happen. Truly indefensible.
This is the heartbreak that is so often ignored. When boys play girls’ sports, the boys get institutional support and sympathetic media profiles, while adults in charge congratulate themselves on their virtuous ability to ignore reality. But girls are left abandoned on the sidelines, grappling with a devastating but unmistakable message: “You don’t matter.” States like Washington will toss girls’ fairness, safety, and opportunity aside the moment it interferes with the interests of a boy who claims to be a girl. This isn’t just wrong. It’s a deliberate decision to treat girls worse than boys and demand sacrifices from them that boys don’t have to make. This is unlawful sex discrimination under Title IX. That’s the argument we made in a recent application to the Supreme Court. On behalf of our client Kallie Keeler, we asked the Court to stop this unlawful discrimination and make Washington state give her a fair and safe playing field so she can play the sport she loves. This scene just shows several more human reasons why the Court’s action is needed.

These teenage girls in Washington are braver than millions of grown men in America. They refused to run against a biological male in girls' cross country. Why are 15-year-old girls having to stand up for basic fairness while grown men are too cowardly to speak out? Ridiculous.
