This is what we've come to. The police having to secure a line of theatregoers waiting to get into the Criterion Theatre to see Tracey-Ann Oberman's production of Merchant of Venice for fear of antisemitic violence. suffice to say T-A O is a bloody hero

✍️ No joke, but the UN is a increasingly a joke...
No joke: this Thursday, the Islamic Regime in Iran will become Chair of the U.N. Human Rights Council Social Forum.
Say NO to the U.N. legitimizing a regime that beats, blinds, tortures and rapes women for demanding their rights.

I will never understand the silence around Oct 7th’s violence against women and girls.
This is Naama, she is an innocent, kidnapped teenager.
“The 19-year-old was part of a global peace organization bringing together Jews, Arabs and Americans and volunteered at a kindergarten helping new Israeli immigrants from Ethiopia.”
Including Naama, there are still 19 women being held hostage in Gaza. Young women were the next group due to be released during the ceasefire but they weren’t.
Speculation is that Hamas don’t want the world to hear from them what they’ve been through and what they’ve seen.
Now is the time to speak up, while these women still have a chance of liberation and of rebuilding their lives.
By the end of this interview we were both in tears.
I hope Yoni gets his Naama back. The silence of the women - so many powerful women - on what Hamas has been doing to young women is shameful.

The tragic terrible news has come to me that Benjamin Zephaniah's family have announced that Benjamin has died. I'm devastated. I admired him, respected him, learnt from him, loved him. Love and condolences to the family and to all who loved him too.

Hamas could have released little Kfir Bibas any day after he was cruelly abducted on October 7. It’s had three hostage release days. It’s choosing to keep this little baby hostage.
Hamas is evil.
Evil must be eradicated.
Hamas will be eradicated.

Nine-year-old Emily Hand did not “go missing”, she was not “lost”, she wasn’t out for a walk and “lost her way”. Emily was brutally kidnapped at gunpoint by monstrous and vile murderers. She was held captive by Hamas, denied any contact with her family, the world, or even the Red Cross.
The Irish Prime Minister's statement last night regarding Emily's release was unacceptable. Nations, and certainly their leaders, should first of all show responsibility and tell the truth: Emily was kidnapped from her home in Israel by Hamas terrorists. Emily and her family are Israeli victims of the terrorist organization Hamas.

To my new followers: I support both the war against #Hamas and, on the political level, the ousting of the #Netanyahu government, which failed both our security and our democracy.
My heart is tonight with the hostages’ families and with these anti-Netanyahu protesters.

Hey women organizations and feminists around the world - you don’t seem to care about Israeli women raped and murdered, but how about a retweet for the pilot flying our hostages home?

The definition of diabolical cruelty. Obviously the tormenting of civilian families of a child hostage both of whose parents were murdered on 7 Oct.
After postponing the ceasefire in a day, Hamas now announces that 3-year-old Abigail won't be released tomorrow.
Abigail was kidnapped to #Gaza alone, and still doesn't know that she's an orphan after Hamas murdered her parents on October 7.

This little girl’s body was burned so badly that it look forensic archeologists more than six weeks to identify her.
All that remains of 12 year old Liel Hetzroni is ash and bone fragments.
May her memory be a blessing.

In Los Angeles, if this display is distressing, try to envision enduring it in Gaza! Over 80 young girls and women have been held captive by Hamas for the past 47 days, facing sexual, physical, and mental abuse. These heinous crimes persist while women's rights activists remain silent. Where are you? They urgently need your help. Don't stay silent! @unwomen @nationalnow @unitednations

The whole of Great Britain went into hyper desperation mode over a period of years to find one missing British girl - Madeleine McCann
Israel has over 40 children missing - including babies - with people we know are rapists
You really need to look at yourself Britain if you don’t understand Israel’s response in trying to bring back its children

No, @SkyNews, Hamas isn’t releasing hostages *despite* the military pressure.
It’s releasing them *because* of Israel’s unrelenting military pressure.
My eyebrows are tired.
