I'm already almost 35. It's been a wild ride so far. Soon, I will start my Cybersecurity journey in the uni. Second time I’m back in uni. I’ll document it one way or another. As much as I love computers, and all technology/ science related stuff, I really enjoy nature, too. Peaceful moments in the forest, next to a lake, fishing and just staring at the fishing float and an occasional big fish on my hook, night time bonfire, the stars in the sky, while sitting next to it. I do a lot of stuff with computers that I really enjoy, and what I think, will teach me useful skills or is just fun to try. From homelab setups, AI, game servers, and just exploring tech, and exploring nature as a whole. Follow me if you are interested in this journey.

Today, is my birthday 😃 can't tell how happy I am to have lived up to 35 😃 got to see and do already a lot of stuff, and much more to come, feels solid 😄 Will crack open some beers this evening, and enjoy some quality time with my family and gf 😄

I've launched again a Project Zomboid server, needed two days to find all the possible conflicts and do the options, so that the server is in healthy state. If anyone interested in playing Project Zomboid, dm me, I will gladly provide info for you 😃😄 Build is 42.

I've been gone for a good week or so, studies week was intense, still one lecture tomorrow. All I can say, discrete mathematics is a pain in the ass, once it get's complex. You sit there, and realize that you won't have the time given to do the test, and you start sweating af 😆 Goodness bless cybersecurity, what did I got myself into.

Hey, it's that time of the year, where I'm searching for a job 😄 Since, I don't want to go the traditional route, through Linkedin or any other platform, I'm trying here on X. I have 4+ years of experience with English speaking customer support position, and I would prefer such position again. Preferably in EU based, or USA based company, with a obviously remote position. If anyone would direct me to such company, I would be more than happy, to take a look at the offer and see if I could find a job 😃 Preferably, a smaller company, not something huge.

Bountiful fishing session and last evening in the orb building 😃 made also sheep soup. Said goodbye to the kitty, that's been sleeping under our bed and departed. Atm I'm already at home, fish is being cleaned, and will for sure make myself something from it 😃

Going back to nature 😸

Sheep meat prepared for the last autumn nature retreat for two days 😃 will be making shashlyk and a sheep meat soup 😄 I can't promise, depends on how good connection will be, but I might make at last a fishing stream, got everything prepared for my tablet, so hopefully, I will be able to stream at least for two hours of fishing during either morning, or evening hours 😄

Back at Nobara Linux, just when I got this PC 😃 Feeling happy, projects will be kicked off soon, everything works just flawless.

I'm thinking of cleaning my PC completely, and staying just within a single operating system, while others should be a VM's when needed. This way I will have more NVME's accessible, more easily. Reason is that I want to kick off several projects, and host games from VM's, and I want it to be isolated, so it may be a hurdle to set up everything 😄 What do you think people, is having a singular system with VM's available more reasonable and more versatile, than having several operating systems that you need to double/ triple boot to?

I was always fascinated by the mythology, legends and stories about Lithuanian pagan pantheon. I still remember, when I was a small kid, my grandad used to tell, that the Perkunas is riding his chariot in the sky, when there would be a lightning and a sound after. Even my grandad already passed years ago, he still hold a special place in my heart. He helped me to overcome the fear of this amazing phenomenon. Funny, when I think about it, I was always surrounded by the stories about Lithuanian pagan gods and traditions. A place, where I grew up, during most of my childhood and teenage summers, just across the river, we have the old pagan burial sites peppered all across the area, and a singular piliakalnis/ castle site. Felt today, like creating more AI slop, that no one will use, but I will host it for sure 😄 A website, where you can upload AI art, chat, and talk about it. Accepts most popular formats, and whatnot. Will eventually host it, when I will get appropriate server machine for it. Prob some Raspberry Pi.
