Someone told me today, “you deserve to be filled, the same way you pour.”
Whew. Read that twice.

Braiden Bell — the play-by-play announcer the Portland Trail Blazers hired and fired on the same day after being notified of derogatory tweets he posted as a team — has hired counsel and is asking for reinstatement.

Braiden Bell is one of the best, most authentic, and genuinely great dudes not just in our industry, but on the planet.
Aside from being an *incredible* broadcaster, his sterling character is one I will ceaselessly vouch for, and it is not at all represented by an ill-advised series of offensive tweets sent as a freshman in high school. I could fill an essay on the quality person he is. This decision by the Blazers reeks of hypocrisy, panic, and zero courageous leadership.
I can promise you he doesn’t deserve what happened yesterday, and that he will not be defined by this.

Our court is more than a place to perform. It’s a place to find your people, build something together and feel safe and seen while being exactly who you are.
Congratulations Alex and Tara! 💍
The highlight of my career has been telling stories about you, Dee.
I’ve admired you from afar. Admired you from up close. And now I’ll admire that Taurasi banner in our arena forever.

The standard has a name and it’s Diana Taurasi.

Got the chance to see these talented players in action today! It was great having the @WNBA at Home Court at the Obama Presidential Center for All-Star Weekend.
