🔴 RIGHT NOW: 8 migrants stand in court accused of murdering a man and stealing his house, before also draining his bank accounts and pension pots.
Just DAYS after Gary went missing, a lead suspect, Ibrahim Yosif, began renovating the man's house on Broad Avenue in Leicester. The house was said to have been completely transformed for those who were going to live there.
The court heard that Ibrahim Yosif then moved into the property with his wife, Dilan Rabati, and her sister, Dalya Rabati, as well as Dalya's husband at the time, Ahmed Nabla. Another person, Mabast Khalid, was also at the house when the arrests took place.
The court heard that as well as allegedly taking Gary's house, the defendants began to drain his bank accounts alongside his two pension pots.
Another part of the fraud is said to have involved Ibrahim Yosif, Dalya Rabati and Nazem Kakamondo making fake tenancy agreements giving the impression that Gary was letting his home to them.
Before disappearing, Gary had spent almost all of his life living in that same house, even after his parents died in 2004 and 2009 respectively.
He is said to have had a small and close group of friends, and visited the pub daily.
Despite "drinking more than he should", Gary ALWAYS returned home.
He occasionally travelled outside Leicester by bus or train, but again, he always returned home.
The prosecutor said that Diar Muhammedy and Mabast Khalid, both charged with assisting an offender, helped Ibrahim Yosif and Omed Firuzmand evade justice after they murdered Gary on 18 April 2024.
The pair allegedly provided Firuzmand with accommodation and washed items following the murder. It's said that both men worked for Yosif and were trusted by him.
The proceedings will continue at 2pm today.

NOW SHE HAS REPORTEDLY BEEN RELEASED FROM PRISON.
Her name is Natalie Herron. Court reporting recorded her searching for that footage in messages about monkey torture.
On 10 June 2025, she received a two-year, three-month prison sentence after admitting possessing and distributing obscene material depicting animal torture.
Now, the Daily Record reports she has been released after serving just over half of that term.
Look at what investigators uncovered.
1,084 images and videos of monkey torture on her phone.
Around 4,000 WhatsApp messages she had sent discussing the abuse and her hatred of the animals.
Herron became an administrator in the network and shared hundreds of images and videos.
One reported message read:
“I am shocked how easily the drill went through the skull, it was like butter.”
A living animal’s suffering, reduced to something to discuss in a chat.
The wider network paid people in Indonesia to torture and kill monkeys on camera. Among the animals were babies taken from their mothers. People online voted on how they should suffer.
Their pain had an audience.
Their torture had a market.
Police said Herron’s actions contributed to the animals’ suffering. Even the investigators described this as one of the most horrific cases they had handled.
Our previous post covered Bartosz Poklek, jailed on 9 October for his role in organising monkey torture and offences involving child sexual abuse images. His convictions underline why scrutiny of these networks matters.
Every person who commissions, funds or circulates torture helps sustain the demand for another animal to suffer.
Accountability must reach everyone who keeps that trade alive.
Twenty-seven months was Herron’s sentence. The reported time served deserves scrutiny.
How seriously are we treating cruelty this deliberate?

🚨 This is the face of a 60-year-old man who is believed to have been defrauded and murdered by 8 MIGRANTS. The victim is from Leicester and hasn't been seen since April 2024. Two main suspects, Ibrahim Yosif and Omed Firizmund are currently on trial accused of murder and preventing burial.
Six others face charges linked to alleged fraud involving the alleged victim's house and bank accounts, possession of £148,750 in cash, and assisting an offender:

All 8 defendants, who are using Kurdish interpreters, deny the charges.

The defendants are only accused of said crimes, and no guilt has been proven at this time.
