Trader to trader, don't let anyone deceive you into thinking you're doing something wrong.
In trading, no monthly RR is fixed. You can be up +5R this month, down -3R next month, and up +1R the following month.
It is never fixed, and your strategy isn't broken just because returns fluctuate.
Consistent profitability does not equal a consistent monthly return.
Every month has its own market conditions...

Every time I break my trading rules, it feels like I’m moving out of alignment with the trader I’m becoming.
