Meet Ashlyn from @FRCteam2881! She not only built a replica of her team’s competition robot out of #LEGO bricks, she used the LEGO Mindstorm to build a working model which shoots and climbs much like its much larger counterpart. Check it out: firstintexas.org/lego-challe…

Ashlyn is a founding member of the RoboSaders, and she's built another amazing mini-FRC robot! Perhaps @FRCTeams should re-think their robot build rules to include LEGO... 🤣 #FITLEGOChallenge
The #FIRSTinTexas community never ceases to amaze us! Check out Ashlyn's (@FRCteam2881) fully functional LEGO mini-FRC robot! We can't think of a better way to wrap up the 30-Day #FITLEGOChallenge.

For the @FIRSTinTexas #FITLEGOChallenge, the RoboSaders and BioBots present LEGO versions of our FIRST Rise robots. Jaurmkie (RoboSaders) on the right and Wall-E (BioBots) on the left. Is it cheating that we are an FLL team and these are our actual robots? 🤓
The @FairmontATX knows how to celebrate #InternationalWomensDay ! We love it! @FIRSTinTexas #omgrobots
In the excitement we forgot to say that we won the Project Research award! Thanks to @wwrobowarriors for hosting an amazing event. @FIRSTinTexas #omgrobots

A #LifeWellLived that will continue to have an impact on generations to come. #WoodieFlowers
Dr. Woodie Flowers pushed experimental learning by showing engineers how to solve problems with their hands, rather than just by reading. He passed away last month at the age of 75. @WillieGeist remembers a #LifeWellLived. on.today.com/34rmAai
A visit from Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush where several of our club members got to learn about maps and history: bit.ly/2W1ACN4 Thanks to @georgepbush for the visit, and to @KVUE for covering his visit!
We are so sad to hear about Woodie’s passing. He’ll be missed. #WoodieFlowers
