Palantir is flirting with record highs and Wall Street is piling on.
Goldman Sachs just upgraded it to Buy, talking about "sovereign AI" — governments wanting AI on their own data instead of handing it to big tech clouds. Barclays started coverage at Overweight too. The stock is up a ton since summer on the back of blowout revenue growth and raised guidance.
Here's my tension: the business momentum is undeniable — government contracts, enterprise AI, real revenue growth. But the valuation is demanding, insiders have been selling, and one research firm just downgraded to Hold saying it's overbought.
Earnings land in early November and that'll be the real test.
When everyone's bullish at the top, I get nervous. But I've been wrong about that before.
