Excited our latest study came out in @NeurologyCP. Autonomic neuropathy in people with HIV is an independent risk factor for morbidity and mortality.
People with a loss of function of the Nav 1.7 gene don’t feel pain. Fascinating work presented today at the @NIHendaddiction HEAL Headliners Webinar, shows that this gene can be silenced using novel gene therapy technology, reducing pain in multiple animal models.
