When I first saw this - probably at about 14yrs old in 1989, I remember thinking it was captivating and weird but not particularly good or funny. It's now 2024 and I'm almost 49... and... I find it inspiring.

The effort employed for this gag is palpable. From "Hey, I have a funny idea" to the execution of this collaboration... ...just as much or even more of the humor comes from the horn lines, choreography, and backing vocals as Martin's performance. #basedreview
