Winston Marshall stated documented facts on BBC Newsnight. The Centre for Social Justice’s analysis of DWP, HMRC, and Home Office data estimates that approximately 1.85 million non-British adults received at least one form of welfare or a state pension in 2025, at a cost of approximately £23 billion. Of that total, approximately 1.3 million foreign nationals claim Universal Credit, with official FOI data showing that households containing at least one foreign national received a record £11.9 billion in Universal Credit in 2025 (up from £9.5 billion in 2024 and £7.5 billion in 2023). Roughly 65% of that went to jobless claimants. These are not opinions. They are the measured results of policy. The UK tax burden as a share of GDP has returned to levels not seen since the late 1940s. IFS analysis shows that it is now the highest sustained take since 1948 and is forecast to rise further under current plans. High taxes suppress the investment, hiring, and productivity that generate the revenue needed to fund services for citizens. Transferring large shares of working-age benefits and Universal Credit to foreign nationals who have not contributed equivalently, while British taxpayers face the highest postwar tax burden, is a direct inversion of the reciprocity that makes a welfare system sustainable. Official data show that four in five new payroll jobs since 2014 went to foreign nationals, while British out-of-work benefit claims remain elevated. That is not mutual contribution. It is extraction. Critics responded with personal attacks on Marshall’s family, former band, and podcast rather than addressing the figures. That pattern is consistent: when data on foreign national benefit claims, Universal Credit growth, and the tax take come from government sources, the response is ad hominem rather than engagement with the numbers. The same voices that demand higher taxes and expanded welfare for non-citizens refuse to address the measured fiscal and employment outcomes. British citizens are not obligated to subsidize the indefinite expansion of claims by people who arrived under temporary or no-recourse conditions and later gained access. The solution is to restore the original principle of contribution before entitlement: restrict working-age benefits and Universal Credit to British citizens and long-settled contributors, accelerate the removal of those who entered illegally or overstayed, and cut the tax burden so that work and investment are rewarded rather than penalized. Anything less continues the transfer of resources from those who built the system to those who have not. Proposed Working Definition of Anglophobia Anglophobia is rooted in prejudice and discrimination and is a type of hostility that targets expressions of Englishness or perceived Englishness. Anglophobia may manifest itself in different ways, including through attitudes, language, stereotypes, structural discrimination, or acts of hostility directed at individuals or communities because they are, or are perceived to be, English. Examples of Anglophobia These examples are intended to illustrate how Anglophobia may appear in public discourse, institutional behaviour, or social attitudes. Collective Blame Holding English people collectively responsible for the actions of the English state or for historical events associated with England. Examples may include; suggesting that all English people share moral responsibility for imperialism, colonialism, or historical wrongdoing. Cultural Erasure or Denigration Dismissing or mocking English cultural traditions, history, or symbols as inherently illegitimate or shameful. Examples may include: Portraying English national identity as something that should not exist Treating expressions of English pride as automatically suspect or extremist.
Differential Standards Applying different standards of legitimacy or acceptability to expressions of English identity than those applied to other national or ethnic identities. Examples may include: Condemning expressions of English identity while celebrating comparable Expressions of identity by other groups Suggesting English identity should be suppressed or replaced.
Denial of Identity Asserting that English identity is not legitimate or that English people should not identify collectively as a distinct cultural group. Examples may include; arguments that English people do not constitute a valid cultural identity or that expressions of English belonging are inherently exclusionary. Institutional Discrimination Policies or institutional behaviour that unfairly disadvantage individuals or communities because they are English or because they express English cultural identity. Examples may include: Unequal treatment in public institutions Discrimination in employment, education, or public life linked to expressions of English identity.
Hostility and Harassment Abuse, intimidation, or hostility directed toward individuals because they are English or perceived to be English. This may include: Verbal abuse referencing English identity Harassment targeting English culture or symbols Acts of violence against individuals or property associated with English identity. Important Clarification Criticism of the policies of the English government, or of historical actions associated with England, is not Anglophobic. However, such criticism may become Anglophobic when it moves from criticism of policies or history to hostility toward English people or expressions of English identity.

Read this powerful article by @thetimes , and reflect on what has been shared.. This is not just “persecution by (extremely clumsy) process” imposed upon active-duty SAS operators fighting to detain vicious ISIS thugs in an active war zone, but also an example of performative self-immolation initiated by the most senior UK Special Forces officer at the time (G Jenkins) as self-serving exercise in what HE calls ‘transparency’…… So, if someone, anyone (quite possibly an enemy) within an active war zone says the SAS killed an unarmed man, then the so-called ‘senior leaders’ (some, as in this case, with near-zero combat experience) within the Whitehall-based ‘UK system’ desperate to demonstrate something that they call ‘transparency’ (or whatever else floats the MOD’s boat), will automatically launch an aggressive RMP operation to detain the SAS men involved…. Not on the basis of any hard evidence (there is no crime scene, no bodies, no bullets etc), but purely on distant, uncorroborated hearsay and remote, delayed analysis of operational reports; all supported by desk-bound, chinless leaders that seemingly care more about how they will (personally) look in an MOD promotion board than trying to properly understand the circumstances faced by the SAS men and defend them accordingly. What a gift this utterly pathetic weakness, low threshold investigative process and twisted self-defeating system gives to our many enemies….and what an awful message it sends to those that still volunteer to fight on our all of our behalves….
🔺 EXCLUSIVE: How did a secret mission in Syria lead to a crisis within Britain’s special forces? Insight, The Sunday Times investigations team, can reveal the full story behind an SAS operation in Syria in 2022 — and its aftermath thetimes.com/uk/defence/arti…

Check this out: “As a former RNLI Crewman Volunteer of 15 years let me educate you of Maritime Law if I may. When these rubber boats set off from France overloaded, the French are breaking maritime law by not intercepting them and returning them to shore. When these illegal migrants boats have sailed almost 3/4 of the way to the UK and now in British waters, the RNLI and Border Force are sent out by the Coastguard on the instructions of HM Government to intercept them. They do this because if the rubber boats are allowed to land on uk soil under their own steam then everyone on board becomes an illegal immigrant and by law MUST be detained and deported asap. However when they are picked up at sea, even if only 200 yards offshore, and in no danger whatsoever, then the RNLI and Border pick them up and they are longer called illegals - conclusion The French and The British are doing this on purpose - WHY?”

Robert Jenrick absolutely bodybagged the BBC on its own radio show this morning. When challenged over vetting, @RobertJenrick fired back: “Can you now give a guarantee to your listeners this morning that no BBC presenter in the future will be exposed as a paedophile as a number have been in the recent past? No of course you can’t.” The BBC has a history of deeply disturbing scandals involving its own presenters, yet has the audacity to lecture others about vetting. An elite level takedown of a publicly funded broadcaster with some serious skeletons in its own cupboard.

Not too long ago, Kemi Badenoch wanted MORE immigration into Britain. She openly boasted in parliament about lobbying to loosen immigration rules and import more people into this country. WHY WOULD YOU VOTE TORY ?!!

Do you see what’s happening? There is a coordinated campaign underway to try and revive the Tory party that nearly destroyed Britain. The Tories this week polled LESS than what they won in 2024. They’ve lost their deposit at almost every parliamentary by-election in England and have massively underperformed their polling. They want you to believe things have changed when 92% of Kemi’s team were in past Tory governments that wrecked this country. But now look around the media class and the coordinated campaign against Reform UK. Do you see what’s happening?

Are some people seriously contemplating voting Tory again? Have they lost their minds? Do they not remember the years 2010-2024 - the economic stagnation, the housing crisis, the immigration shambles, the deepening 'wokeification' of our institutions and society, the mad green zealotry, the sacrificing of our energy security? Does all that get forgotten because Kemi Badenoch can turn a decent phrase? The Tories deserve to die a slow death. They should certainly never get anywhere near power again for a good many years.

Michael Rainsborough and I have a new piece out in the Daily Sceptic. It asks: are Britain's leaders accelerationists? Are they actually provoking rupture? The argument is straightforward. Britain’s governing class is not accelerationist in any literal or deliberate sense. It is, rather, practising a dismal form of managerial containment: recognise the social fractures produced by sustained high migration, then answer them with yet another fake plan, idiot framework or pointless monitoring regime while leaving the policies that generate the fractures in place. That approach does not solve the underlying problems. Instead it compounds them and each fresh administrative 'remedy' that fails to touch the essence of the problem deepens the public impression that government is remote from the consequences of its own choices—complacent at best, and to a growing number of people effectively malevolent. The piece is here: dailysceptic.org/2026/10/14/…

My essay in the Daily Mail today: It should be possible to question the scale and speed of immigration, or to mourn the disappearance of a familiar culture, without being assumed to harbour 'hatred' towards any new arrivals. Love for England and a wish to preserve its historic civilisation are not the same as antipathy towards outsiders. dailymail.com/debate/article…

Historically, it is incredibly difficult to assimilate millions of people from different cultures. Very few countries have managed it. Secondly, in manifesto commitments, primary legislation and in the language they use, people on the right need to make a much stronger case for those other ancient demarcations of English identity. Vague mush about 'British values' and football isn't enough. It has to be rooted in our history. Finally, politicians and commentators must desist from the patronising lie that 'Englishness' is unique in never having had any relationship to ethnic identity, that we alone have always been a 'melting pot'. ✍️ Madeline Grant Article | spectator.com/article/englan… | @Madz_Grant
