I recently reread Outlearning the Wolves. It's a business book, but powerful. The greatest threat to our success may not be the wolves around us, but the complacency within us.

Thank you Team Perry! Leadership is not always easy, but it is certainly rewarding when you have the privilege of working alongside such dedicated and caring individuals. I am truly honored and humbled to serve W.A. Perry Middle School and to lead a team that pours so much into our students each day. #RiseTogetherSoarForever

Past success is not a guarantee of future success. In fact, achieving success is often easier than sustaining it. Success can create a false sense of security if we allow complacency to set in. We must remain focused, disciplined, intentional, and committed to continuous improvement. What worked yesterday may not be enough for tomorrow. Celebrate the wins, but never become comfortable. Stay hungry, stay focused, and keep raising the standard. Excellence requires consistency, not complacency!

I am incredibly proud of W.A. Perry Middle School! Our journey has not been easy, and the obstacles have been many, but we continue to RISE! Despite the challenges, we are making gains, celebrating growth, and proving that progress is possible when people remain committed to a common purpose. Every gain matters. Every victory counts. Every student deserves our very best. We still have work to do. I applaud the progress we've made and the people who make it possible. Rise Together. Soar Forever!

Leadership changes your view.

Happy Sunday! I’m not superhuman. I’m not indestructible. Words still hurt. Fears still taunt. Weary still arrives. I breathe it all in. Exhale it all out. Then get up again because I trust God’s got it all figured out.

Leadership Tip: Flaw or Feature? What some people call a flaw could really be a feature. Don’t let someone’s criticism of you define you. You have to decide if you will live down to criticism or live up to your greatest potential.
