I couldn’t be more thrilled to tell you that my full length poetry collection, Holy Ghosts, was accepted by @QuerenciaPress for publication. This book grapples with loss, mortality, coming of age, chronic illness, and love— familial, romantic, friendship. I’ll keep you posted!

For those saying "do not make this political while the families grieve" I say DO make it political. These shootings happen so often that there is no time to leave the victims and families to grieve before the next shooting happens. Make it political.

Ableism is seeing disabled people’s struggles and inaccessibility as inspiration and gratefulness for not being us rather than helping to improve our situation. Ableism is saying "I will use you as a tool to remind myself that at least I'm not you."

This poem is so good it jolts me every time to be honest. People love to post that one line from it whenever June hits, which I get, but why deprive anyone of the whole thing??

If Democrats are serious about preventing a second Trump term, they cannot play with the question “is funding a genocide a red line with voters?”

Something I’m not hearing a ton about is that Gallaudet Students, from the historic college for the deaf, are also participating in solidarity encampments in the DMV area.

I’m not nostalgic, you’re nostalgic! (Pink Cheer Bear with his rainbow belly and a heart shaped rainbow balloon is near!). If you notice a book in the upper right-hand corner, it’s @sickgirlisms stunning Heat Death of The Universe, published by the ever-lovely @fifthwheelpress

Oh, how I live for the feeling of pushing through the day w/ no sleep, and making it! And finishing that last errand; and curling up under the covers wearing a huge, fuzzy pink sweater, w/ gummy bears and YA literature. I’m not childish, you’re #childish #sarahdessen #yalit

Amy’s whole thread is sad, insightful, scary, and exceedingly angry-making. I just thought this particular statistic needed to be really read — and — absorbed, by as many folks as possible. #Disability #women

🧵7. See as much of it as you can. I’ve managed thirty-six states and several Canadian provinces between bouts of illness, but have always been too sick to go farther. I hope if I’m lucky, & my writing career one day asks it of me, I can do it. But I can’t know. It’s a huge—
