Note what Burnham is doing. It’s not incompetence. He is indulging the mad left on Russia & Brexit precisely because he’s uniting the left on EU, Gaza, PR, pro-migration. The Right might laugh but unless right voters are as tactical as left voters it will be game over.

Channel 4 came looking for a scandal. They didn’t expect me to investigate THEM.
