2030 Justin Johnson has the makings of being a good overall PG down the road. Truly understands how to play the position, see the floor, as well as create and facilitate. Sees the floor well. #PhenomMSCamp

If you are a high school varsity basketball athlete and you have never gotten dunk on and crossed up, you are not competing and not playing defense!

I’m not a fan of the choppy feet during a closeout. I don’t think that’s realistic. Too easy to get blown by.
Coaching question: What are your thoughts on this type of closeout? Proper or unrealistic?

Let’s go Jordan! @mcmavsbball
2025 6’2 Jordyn Washington has impressed with his decision-making and ability to attack gaps in the defense, consistently creating good looks at the basket. He’s been effective in transition, finding teammates when drawing help-side defenders, and showcased his mid-range game by knocking down shots with good lift and space. Washington should have a strong year for Mallard Creek with his all around play and effort. #HoopStateLeague

Expect the backcourt duo of 2025s Jordyn Washington and Chris Johnson to have a much increased role at Mallard Creek this season. Speedy guards who have the ability to create off the bounce & be a threat from the perimeter. #HoopStateLeague #PhenomHoops @mcmavsbball

2025 6'3 Chris Johson and 2026 6'6 Lajalin Overton (Mallard Creek) are two intriguing prospects for this team. Johnson shows terrific bounce and energy on both sides, while Overton can bring size and physicality as well as knock down shots. #PhenomHoops #HoopStateLeague
