Shout out to the Ohio Federation of Teachers, President Melissa Cropper & Cleveland Teachers Union who hosted an All-Star line-up of speakers including Shontel Brown (OH-11), Brian Poindexter (Candidate OH-7), Emilia Sykes (OH-13), & AFT President Randi Weingarten. @PortageDems
Privileged to hear two inspirational speakers yesterday. David Pepper at Kent State and then Emilia Sykes at the Portage Federation of Democratic Women’s Annual Gala. @PortageDems @GeaugaDems
Thanks go out to the UAW (NE Ohio Community Action Program Council Region 2B Local 1005) for their support! Being raised in a "Union Family" makes this endorsement all the more appreciated. :) @PortageDems @GeaugaDems
Thanks go out to the Akron LWV and Brimfield Township for hosting their respective Candidates Night this week. They provided a great opportunity to share our platform and connect with constituents. @SCProgDems @PortageDems @GeaugaDems
Rather than wallow in the mud with my opponent by producing our own negative ad, I wanted to instead use our last "Talking Point" of this election season to push back on the negative ad nonsense coming from his campaign. @PortageDems @OHSenDemCaucus

Thanks go out to the Randolph Lions Club for the opportunity to speak at their Candidates Night along with other local candidates last night. Great info was also shared on Issues 13 & 14. 👍@PortageDems @GeaugaDems
Thanks go out to Andy Harant, Jennifer Reynard, and Danielle Welling-Harris for giving me a "tour" of the Cuyahoga Falls Library and then providing insight on all the services the library provides beyond books. It’s an especially important time to support public libraries!
Out in Cuyahoga Falls this afternoon with a great crew including folks from the Noah Spinner (H31) and Congresswoman Emilia Sykes’ campaigns. @PortageDems @GeaugaDems @EmiliaSykesOH @JNoahSpinner
Great turnout at the “No Kings” events in Bainbridge and Kent yesterday. It was also good to hear the number of folks who have already voted when talking and walking through the crowds at each event. @PortageDems @GeaugaDems
Congratulations to honorees Tim Piatt and Margo Sommerville who were recognized at last night's Tri-County Regional Labor Council Awards Dinner. It was a great evening and a strong union showing with over 300 in attendance. Amy Acton topped off the evening. 😀@ohioaflcio
Grateful for the support from the Ohio AFL-CIO and Tri-County Regional Labor Council. Looking forward to Tri-County’s event tonight. @PortageDems @GeaugaDems @ohioaflcio

BREAKING: An Ohio appellate court has ruled that the EdChoice voucher program, which uses taxpayer dollars to fund private school tuition, is unconstitutional.
The program can continue, as judges expect the state to appeal.

Great turnout at the Greenwood Village Candidate Night in Sagamore Hills last night. I was able to share about our campaign along with a great slate of local and Judicial Candidates across Northern Summit County. Appreciated the invitation to connect to the community.
Heading into the last month before elections we thought it would be important to revisit the four "Talking Points" that resonated most with our constituents. instagram.com/reel/DXrCtJQjm… @PortageDems @GeaugaDems
Imagine if someone is willing to pay 76% of an addition to your house and the other 24% can come from bills you are already paying. This is what is in front of the Ravenna Schools. The State will cover $35 million if the district passes the RENEWAL levy. Vote for Issue 5!
Nikki has been a supporter of our campaign early on and I appreciate her endorsement as Cuyahoga Falls will be a key area for us this November. @PortageDems @GeaugaDems

Many states, red and blue alike, have passed legislation to make sure your utility bills don't get turned into campaign contributions for a candidate you don't support.
Senator @KentKSmith talks about his efforts to get politics out of utility bills in this week's #ICYMI.
Delicious breakfast yesterday for a good cause. There are other opportunities coming up this week. These include Monday 10/12 at the King Kennedy Center where the schools will be sharing information about their no new tax renewal levy and I will be there to be available for Q&A.
Packed house last night to hear Sherrod Brown in Cuyahoga Falls. We need to get him back to Washington. @PortageDems @GeaugaDems
