Hanlon's Razor Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity. We shouldn't assume negative intent if there's a viable alternative explanation. It's is a great way to decouple from strong emotions when receiving a response.

The Optimist Razor When choosing who to spend time with, prioritize spending more time with optimists. Think about an idea you'd like to execute. Pessimists will shoot you down. Optimists will support you and encourage you to grow. Pessimists sound smart, optimists get rich.

The highest ROI on your time is saying no to things you shouldn’t prioritize. Takes 15 seconds to save an hour!

Currently, I start each day by tackling my toughest task, which is studying and working on my engineering efforts. By dedicating time to it at the beginning of the day, I am making progress.

The best career/life advice I ever received? Fake it until you become it. Imposter syndrome? Just keep pushing forward. You’ll get more comfortable. Not sure where to start on a project. Pick any starting point and just do. Things will start to become clearer.

github copilot isn't just supporting me in writing code, but it's writing the in-line comments/documentation for me as well. Wild. Also, awesome.

I’m proud of the team at Build It First and the hires that we made for our clients. I was able to step up and be a leader, make hard decisions, and help others level up in their own career. I couldn’t be more delighted to have worked with this team.

Most of the time when you are stuck or unmotivated, you don't know what you want. Defining what you want is the first step in getting it.

I’ve long been a fan of @hutchins and All the Hacks. The topics of Money and Travel are near and dear to my heart. An example is the no-annual fee card he shared offering DOUBLE points on spending for the first year. I’ll add a link in a reply for you! Check out All the Hacks!

Link to the card! Made sure it’s the same link from the email, just in case Chris gets something for highlighting them. click.convertkit-mail.com/0v… And no, I get zero kickbacks for this. 😄

My favorite coping mechanism for the Daylight Savings change tonight: Not changing my clocks until I find an hour I'd like back on Sunday. Like maybe 11 a.m. when an hour of coffee, muffins and reading would be great to repeat.
